Valencia's David Otorbi has been mentioned - but Valencai want a whacking great sell-on clause

If we're looking at Valencia players, Yarek Gasiorowski should be at the top of the list as he's a LCB who can play LB and is a much better fit for our current system

Tomori’s also asked for time to decide.

We’re gonna get rejected twice in quick succession, aren’t we?

Tel got cold feet about moving and has decided to stay at Bayern

Obviously realised he had little chance of breaking into our team with Mikey Moore around

    It's quite probable.

Over thevlast 5 years, we've become a club in a constant state of reacting to poor decisions by our management. Those reactions have only served to make things worse.

Ange is gone before next season starts and our survival in the PL isn't guaranteed right now. The club's a ****ing mess and the fact that sporting success isn't our primary aim is well known.

Until Levy is gone, nothing will change.

he probably is to be fair.
Also, don’t AC Milan owe us money for Emerson? Going down the route of writing off who owes us money rather than spending any.

Don’t think WBA is gonna be a good move for Lankshear. They’ve got about 3 senior strikers there already.

Said the other day we should prioritise minutes over quality level. League One or even Two would’ve been perfect for him right now as he’s more or less guaranteed starts at that level and follow in Abbott’s/ Donley’s/ Keeley’s footsteps.

It was suggested that Cardiff were in for him. Especially as ex-Spur Etete has gone on loan to Bolton for the rest of the season.

He would have got good game time at Cardiff with only Callum Robinson and new signing Salech to compete with.

It looks like they've brought him in to cover for their main striker Josh Maja, someone we were linked with years ago.
He's got 12 in 26 for them this season, but he's recently picked up a serious injury and could be out for months.
Hopefully Lankshear will be able to force his way into the side in his absence.

I live near West Brom and my mate is a season ticket holder at the baggies. Their main striker Josh Maja is out for quite a while having had surgery . Think he will get opportunities under Mowbray in the short term. Whether the championship is too big a step up for Will at this stage is a different proposition. Let’s hope it’s a successful loan for the lad.

the last few days have been really interesting. We’ve sat here on this thread for over 4 weeks wondering why nothing has happened, knowing how desperate we are. “January is difficult” seems to be the general message from all clubs, not just us.
If it’s so bloody difficult, why are we not working behind the scenes from Sept to December? There’s been sod all concrete rumours for most of January, which to me, feels like the only reason we’re seeing so much more in the last few days is because of the bad publicity around Levy. Media outlets, news papers, and well known pundits/former players have been discussing it, and essentially Levy is the focal point of negativity, not just the fans opinions. - funny how we suddenly start seeing “movement”.
First of all, Tel, a player at a club what owe us money.
Then Tomori, a player at a club that also potentially owe us money?! (Emerson)
It’s all a last ditch attempt where panic has kicked in, which to me, also highlights that there was no plan. It’s more of a “what can we get away with here, things have gone south very quickly!”.

we’re running out of time and options. The meltdown on 3rd Feb is going to be on another level unless a couple of rabbits are pulled out of hats. Even if they are, I don’t think it’s going to make much difference with the fans now. The unrest appears to have really grown in this window. Everyone is seeing through it.

And now we’re after Axel Disasi, according to Romano.
Literally jumping from player to player now.

Matt Law is saying we’re considering a late move for Disasi.

He is ****ing awful, Chelsea fans are desperate to get rid.

    What a window <laugh>

What’s funnier is he’s apparently already agreed personal terms with Villa.

We could go 3/3 for rejections!

    Quite easily.
This window has been a massive wake up call.
Over the years, it’s always been the so called “penny pinching”, I.e not offering enough to the parent club over the purchase of their player, which has meant we’ve failed with our targets.
But this window we are literally getting rejected by the players themselves, if the stories from respected journo’s are to be believed.

is it wages? Our league position? The toxicity surrounding the club? All of the above?

If I were to guess it’d be position, toxicity, manager calibre and the so called level of ambition we have that ends up being a false dawn.

Wages we could probably give them more than what they currently earn but the rest makes us a less than desirable destination for players already at better and bigger clubs.

Players either want silly money (Saudi league) or to play champions league and win trophies.

Spurs can’t offer any of that so there’s no desire for a top player to join.
