Looking at the Blackburn v Preston game ... ... I'm gutted we only drew with them. Terrible game and totally predictable football, neither manager has any real innovation
Forgot about this game. I see Blackburn have put the TV cameras facing their small stand, whereas when we played there on sky the cameras were on the big stand opposite. Wonder if they were scared of our support embarrassing theres
Blackburn challenging for the play offs, think this game shows why the top 4 are breaking away from the rest, it's actually hard work to watch
How long have Preston been in the championship for now? Feel like they’ll always be mid table at this level. Not enough to mount a promotion challenge but strong enough to stay clear of any relegation trouble
Even if it finishes like this we're ten points ahead of Blackburn with a game in hand. I'd much rather face Blackburn, in the play-off's than Boro ... ... playing them at Wembley would be vile, they're awful people.
I was once living in the New Forest, in a house not just roughing it, and jumped on the Southampton supporters bus to the SOL. It pulled up at Wetherby Services and a minibus load of Boro came over. They were all horrendous human beings and absolutely frothing at the mouth about Sunderland. They were begging Southampton to beat us ... ... when they eventually left the Saints were just shaking their heads and asking how they can exist.
Typical **** championship ref, gives Blackburn a soft pen then ignores an elbow to the head (and handball) which should have clearly been a pen for Preston.
Think the ref has had a shocker there personally. If he gives the Blackburn penalty then he simply has to give one to Preston at the end for the elbow. Don't think he played long enough added time either. Think Blackburn deserved the win though. Fair play to them and Eustace, that's a poor squad over performing massively.
Solid win for Blackburn Ridiculously tight in the table for those chasing a play off spot (5th and 6th)
