I never go along with the bogey team/indian sign/never show up sequences of results. This is a team that's just beaten Boro with different/better players and a good manager who showed up Carrick at the SOL. Boro recently drew at home to Cardiff with 75% possession but only 3 efforts on target, Latte Lath scored and he's gone. Carrick isn't quite coach he thinks he is imo. Boro's defence is quite lumpy and slow so we need to get the ball up quickly and keep it on the ground. And, if we press, on occasion, do it full pelt and everyone involved ... ... their central defenders clearly hate playing out of defence despite Carrick plugging along with it. Ha'way the Lads, let's make it a night to remember.
Been twice it's windy as ****. Enjoy But no seriously I'm just being jealous as I'm stuck here in 3 degrees and just been told I'm going to visit the mother in law tomorrow. The cantankerous old bitch. I hate free Saturdays.
We were all in the Royal Arrow in Benidorm for that one. Sunderland supporters going nuts, the few Boro ones with heads in hands and the neutrals going WTF when Rigg scored.
Changed vote to away win. Wilson hat trick incoming. Will change predictor when I decide who else will score for us
After the week he's had, if he scores the winner at Boro ... ... I think he'll spontaneously combust when he goes to the supporters after the game. Now he has that contract I think the tension will go and his finishing will be clinical.
He'll have a field day with their slow defence, they've not came across him yet as he was on the bench in our home game
A fantastic but nervy ending to the season would be beating Burnley at Wembley with Wilson scoring the winning penna against that cheating c*nt Trafford. Please let it be automatic
Thanks again RTB for another tip top MDT again your starting eleven will do me, but again I would like to see a diamond formation with Riggy at its head Thats were he really stands out for me , not out wide supplying crosses, hence I would play your midfield as a diamond to use him central rather than wide, our front two can if required morph into a three with Rigg as and when. I think this game will be decided on how well we cope with their front men , a lot depends on Cirkin O/9 and Mepham, and maybe given recent form its something of an Achilles heal. A possible solution could be to go 3/5/2 on this one we have the players, but its probably too soon to give it a go just yet, anyway Reg knows best . OaU
Love the sentiment of this one but if we end up at Wembley against Burnley and it goes to pens I think my heart will have given out on me and I'll be unconscious somewhere in the stands.
