King Kenny is a bit of a nice guy, he respects other teams, their players, other managers and...the refs. But what if he were to change? What if he became more like "him"? After decisions didn't go our way earlier in the season, a talk with Mike Riley over a cup of tea didn't work. In fact, it seems to have done the opposite to what was expected. Had "his" team been playing today under the same circumstances and same events, Kevin Friend would not be officiating next week. "He" has officials cacking in their pants over decisions going against him, as a result of fear of getting the sack. Maybe Dalglish should take a leaf out of "his" book for once? Small print: This is a very tongue in cheek article for a bit of humour and banter, if you have a problem with it...grow a funny bone and do one.
I wouldn't want us to stoop as low as Fergie. But it does seem that Fergie got his way with Suarez by calling him a diver and a cheat because all fans and refs seem to be against Luis.
Well, KK has the accent, just needs a red nose and a whiskey habit - I expect the ranting about refs and slurred late night phone calls to Richard Scudamore will follow naturally from that
You don't think it has to more to do with the fact that, you know, Suarez is a diver and a cheat? A great player, no doubt, but his diving is pretty obvious to other team's fans without old rednose pointing it out. Just as with players like Drogba and Ronaldo, Suarez's game would only benefit from removing the diving aspect. Sidenote: the referee had a poor second half last night. Fulham had the luck they've not had recently (e.g. Spurs & Everton) and Liverpool were unlucky. But I don't think that is related to the Suarez diving point.
Not seen him dive to be honest - yes he exaggerates the contact but he doesn't dive. And I have seen many times when he turns a defender and gets kicked, pulled or blocked off but still stays on his feet and nothing is given. Watch the match last night and you will him go down because he was kicked and was not faking.
