The team of Brad Hall, Taylor Lawrence, Arran Gulliver and Greg Cackett claimed victory with a time of combined time of one minute 48.07 seconds from their two runs, beating Germany by just under two tenths of a second. It is the first time since 2012 that a team from Germany has not won the Winterberg race, which is the third of eight World Cup legs in the 2024-25 season. For Hall, it is his fourth World Cup gold in the four-man event, taking three golds during the 2022-23 season. "To finish in first place here is incredible," said Hall. "It's been a very long time since anyone other than the Germans have won here. "We're extremely happy and we're now hoping this is a stepping stone to being on top of the podium a few more times this season before we hit the World Championships in March." Related

Angela Cullen is back with Lewis. Lewis Hamilton will be reunited with his former trainer Angela Cullen as he embarks on a new chapter in his F1 career at Ferrari. Hamilton, who enjoyed a formidable partnership with Cullen during his time at Mercedes, has turned to the New Zealander, who will form part of his backroom team. Cullen worked with Hamilton for six of his seven world championship wins but they parted company after the opening race of the 2023 season. Despite their split, the two remained in close contact and frequently messaged each other. Autosport has now learned that Cullen has joined Hamilton's Project 44 company as a physio and will form part of the performance team overseen by race director Marc Hynes. Since the start of 2024, Hamilton's Project 44 company has made several key hires across different areas to help manage the F1 driver's career. After leaving Hamilton's side, Cullen has worked for fellow Kiwi IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong. However, rumours that she would rejoin Hamilton's side at Ferrari intensified earlier in the month when she posted photographs on Instagram wearing red and with a flag bearing his race number, 44, in the background. please log in to view this image Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes and Angela Cullen, Physio for Lewis Hamilton Photo by: Steve Etherington / Motorsport Images Speaking about their split in 2023, Hamilton said: "Angela is living her life right now. She's got so many ideas of things she wants to do. We message pretty much every day. We are still going to skydive together. We are always going to be in each other's lives. "We're stuck with each other, unfortunately, or fortunately! We've been through thick and thin. I am grateful our relationship is as good as it is. We've probably had one of the longest relationships I would say in the sport. I am incredibly grateful for her, I love her dearly." News of the return of their partnership comes as Hamilton undergoes his first laps in a Ferrari-powered car at the Italian team's test track in Fiorano. The 40-year-old spent time in the team's simulator on Monday as he adjusts to the new processes and power delivery of the Ferrari power unit. Hamilton spent the day meeting team principal Fred Vasseur and chief executive Benedetto Vigna, as well as Piero Ferrari, the son of the team's founder, Enzo Ferrari. He also visited Enzo Ferrari's office and spent the day getting to know his new team-mates I love the night .
Need to rant...I have a subscription to discovery plus so that I can watch cycling and snooker...it uses to cost me £6.99 a month, now they're getting rid of that level and combining it with the full package of football, rugby etc... and it's going to cost me £31 a month. Daylight robbery, I will have more football to watch but I'd made a choice not to and that's been taken away It will kill the more niche sports
6 Nations starts tonight. Not a rugby fanatic by any means but I love this tournament. And it's even better now that Italy can compete against anyone on their day - they're not even favourites for the wooden spoon any more - that "honour" goes to Wales. Scotland are bloody dangerous now and England can beat anyone when they actually turn up. If,and that's a big if, they can win in Dublin tomorrow things will look very good as France and Scotland have to go to Twickenham. Can't see anyone winning the Grand Slam TBH so bonus points will be huge. A narrow loss for England tomorrow would not be the end of the world.
If the French National side can replicate Toulouse's demolition of Leicester, the Six Nations won't even be close!
What utter madness from Ntamack. 38-0 up and he shoulder charges someone in the head. Deserved red card.
