    As the title says.

Aidy White has rejected a new deal offered to him by Leeds!

My question is why can't Shaun Harvey do the job he is paid for?

Why do we always do this with contracts and let our best players leave for a free?

Aidy White has been a revelation this year and Premier league clubs will definately come sniffing!

Wonder how much we'd get for him if he left when his contracts up.

He's rejected an initial offer. The January TW will show where we are heading. If White is sold, it will show even to someone like me whose cup is always at least half full that there is a major problem within the club. If he isn't sold during the January TW, it will suggest that things are being worked out.

Lets hope that both White & Howson re-sign soon to put an end to this transfer nonsense. We're currently 5th only 6 pts behind 2nd.

Whites going to be a hell of a player & I think he will be going to the Euros as well. best left back we have had in a long time if this season is anything to go by. Versatile as well.

Sign him up, hes the future <ok>

IMO it's sounds like another player getting too big for his boots. Yes he is a good player, yes he has improved rapidly this season. But he should remember who has stuck with him and who has helped him with his game.
I remember Howson had a great 1st season, but then faded a bit the next. This is really Whites 1st season where he is a permanent fixture in the team. Hope the powers that be get their act together.
But nothing surprises me with this club and if (Leeds supporters) White and Howson do go, it'll just be another **** up by the club and a big **** you to us loyal fans.

    Shaks

I can imagine he is been offered a deal relative to what hes on now, but if its a 4 year deal Aidy white is going to want more and look at his potential he could be in the top 10 of the premiership whether with Leeds or not in a minimum of 2 years time going on his developments so far!

This time im siding with the Players the last few ive gone with the club but I feel the Bradley Johnson 1 backfired on us and White/Howson could follow in the same way

We'd be a better team now if we still had Beckford and Johnson. We keep letting quality players leave, Howson and White have to be offered the wages that will keep them here.

Snodgrass and Clayton will be in the same situation next season, so we already have potential contract dramas lined up for next year.

Its Grayson I feel for how can you possibly build a squad when every year they leave because they can get more money at Wigan or some other less suported club!

He's rejected the initial offer, that happens fairly regularly, I'm not overly worried right now.

The only trouble with long term deals is many youngsters go off the boil and then you are left with a player you can,t get rid offso really you are between the devil and the deep blue sea would you give Nunez a 4 year deal ?

That Nunez deal is ridiculous. Can't see him holding down a first team place ever.

Kissa, I'm on no ones side. None of us know what the club have offered. I wish we did, then at least we could say yes he's right not to sign or no he's not.
He could well develop into a great player, but he's not even completed a full season. His form could dip. He's only 20, he's plenty of time. These two are so called Leeds United fans. I have no problem with players wanting to earn more money and advance their careers, but FFS we're in 5th and can easily get the 2nd spot. I reckon his agent is acting the bollocks and turning his head.

Lads, the days of Paul Madeley telling Revie just to give him the contract and he'll sign it without condition are long gone.

He (or his agent) has merely rejected the initial offer. Maybe he's been offerred enough money but he's not happy with the length of contract because he really wants to stay at Leeds. We don't know.

Howya Wickersley. Unfortunately those days are gone, although IMO Revies side weren't paid enough, but that's for another day.
I'm just sick of the speculation. I'm of the thinking if any player doesn't want to play for the White shirt, they can feck off. Even if it does effect the team.

Morning Shaks. These are the times we live in !

Totally agree, if a player doesn't want to play for us, then bye bye !

But we don't know why he's rejected the offer. As I suggested earlier, it could be because he's not happy with the length of the contract. Unlikely I know, but stranger things have happened !

This is what annoys me, he wants to play for Leeds but wants to be paid the going rate.

And now hes getting slaged off.

Yeah lets tell all the best players to fek off and lets have a **** team forever.

Am not saying give in to players but lets have abit of sense here and not talk ****
