RW- a solution?

A naff idea like the pad says or the best of a worst case scenario?

 

Trippier is a fourth rate player these days and should never play for the club again bar emergency. Every time he's played recently he's looked sloppy, slow, like his heads completely gone. Instead, let's hope Murphy and Tino stay fit, with Krafth as backup and buy a RW.

 

Could be, the squad seems quite flexible tbh - just putting players where I've seen them play for us it looks like we can cover every position at least 4 times over if not more so not sure I'd expect to see it but I've heard crazier ideas:

GK - Pope, Dubz, Odysseas, Ruddy, Gillespie
RB - Tino, Trippier, Krafth, Targett
CB - Schar, Lascelles, Krafth, Botman, Burn, Kelly
LB - Hall, Targett, Burn, Kelly, Trippier, Tino
CM - Tonali, Longstaff, Bruno, Miley, Joelinton, Willock,
RW - Murphy, Barnes, Gordon Joelinton
LW - Gordon, Barnes, Joelinton, Willock, Targett
CF - Isak, Wilson, Osula, Gordon, Joelinton

 

More to the point, the squad is too bloated. This is why I never understand why Howe is so adamant to hold on to players who simply never play/contribute. We cannot possibly need that many LB's or GK's, meanwhile on the right once Murphy's done it's a square peg for a round hole. Odd/poor squad management IMO.

 

I wish people would shut the **** up about RW tbh.

 

Screams to me we need to cut the dead wood, there's probably 8 players there (Dubz/Odysseas, Ruddy, Gillespie, Trippier, Targett, Lascelles, Wilson) you can cut loose and not worry about and then get a RCB, RW and a GK in to make the squad a real competitor at the very top level.
