Thought they may give us a tough game until i watched them against Man Utd. They are ****e, easy home win please if we want CL. Pope back in for Dubravka, Botman perhaps for Burn, though he may play Burn in this then Botman v Arsenal.
Good thing is they don't sit back and try and defend. Hoping for a home win with early goals and all our players come through fit and cardless before the Arsenal game.
Important game but the players may take the foot off the pedal with an eye on the cup matches. Next 6 games potentially defines our season. A couple of early goals in this game would help and we can then manage out the game. 2-0.
Fulham appear to be a little short in the final 3rd, but they're a very well coached side that can be difficult to defeat. I'm going to go with a 2-1 Newcastle victory.
Fulham are way better this season than last, will be a tough one, although not as tough as Bournemouth was. Optimistic 3-1
B'mth play such an aggressive four forwards, it'll take teams time to work them out. Fulham's a bit more sit and counter. We don't like that, is my only concern, and it's another that just won't be easy. Think we may draw this one.
That's how to beat our side.... Wait until we've committed and then bang you're running with pace at a pedestrian back 4
Then if we lose people will say he should have done something else. If they lose there will probably be some Neanderthal saying we are 1 loss and no wins without Almiron at the club. It's all horseshit just see what happens and what ever the result that's it.
Yeah all for that if we didn’t have a semi final 3/4 days later. Horses for courses. When it’s league fixture after league fixture you can leave your players out there and see games out/score an equaliser or winner, etc. but with a huge game later you could, should, and I personally would, have Isak, Gordon and Tonali off by 60-70 mins at the latest even if it’s 1-1 - obviously you can’t tell what will happen but we should be looking to wrap our better players in cotton will this weekend.
