If Gronbaek is fit enough to play I could see us going with a 3-4-2-1 with Les and Downes as DMs and Fernandes and Gronbaek behind a central striker, probably Onuachu.
But can you? He’s basically done it twice & as captain!? He’s certainly putting markers up there. Personally, I can’t forgive him for just limply tweaking that pricks hair; much prefer he did it properly & twatted him (and before someone says but he would have got a longer ban …. )!
So your complaint isn’t unprofessional behaviour, but a lack of extreme violence Cucorella is an annoying little bastard and I actually think he has grown his hair as a tool to get players sent off. He’s always throwing himself on the deck holding his head and committing sneaky little fouls and looking like an innocent little kid
I think stripping him of the captaincy is enough punishment. Not that I'd be upset if he didn't play for us again, but he is a better CB than Bree and I'm trying to just think what's best for the team. Not that I expect it would make much difference either way. As much of a cockwomble as he is, I'd be pretty surprised if he did anything that stupid again this season.
He can’t continue as Capn after that, however the list of suitable applicants is short, that is, ZERO His behaviour was an indication of his passion and actually his potential ‘leadership’ He just got it very wrong and needs to channel it positively I’m sure most of you agree
Can’t see anything but a comfortable Ipswich win tbh. Most winnable game of the season for them and their fans will be right on it and the players far more up for it than ours. 3-0 to them if I had to choose a scoreline Our best chance of getting to 12 points is towards the end of the season when we play teams who are on the beach and we have more to play for at that point (beating the record) than they do. Not looked at fixture list so no idea who will fit into that in the last 5/6 games
Pretty sure our players will also be on the beach by that point tbh. As we discussed recently I doubt they're all that arsed about the record. I think Fulham and West Ham are the most likely candidates for end of season opposition with nothing to play for. Could arguably include Everton but they'll have huge motivation to win imo.
I don’t really care about the record, we have been a laughing stock for years so another thing isn’t going to make much of a difference. People will still bring up the 9-0s far more often than PL total points record I do agree with what someone said recently though (forgotten who it was on here) that as the season gets closer to the end it will be brought up more by media until we beat it/dont beat it and I think the players will want to avoid it. Sutton said the other day that he’s hoping we don’t break it so he can continue to take the piss out of Savage for it, so I think the players will care more than you think. But yeah this is absolutely not a game we will win, doesn’t matter if Ipswich are just as **** as us they have more to play for and if they get 1 then we will crumble as always
I think Saints will pick up an away win. Our form will pick up in the second half as Juric understands his team. I would like to see some of the youngsters given a chance.
