I don’t disagree, but they will start and they are starting. Whether it works out or not remains to be seen.
Spence was ruled out with a knock a day or two ago So it's a real Smorgasbord of who misses games, which I suppose is technically new territory...
The weird thing is Maddison definitely arrived at the stadium today, as he's in the clip posted to the socials https://www.instagram.com/reel/DFSZRvutktY/
RCL’s gonna kill me, but I can’t see us losing today. - and I’m hardly the most optimistic fan. that’s a good enough team to beat Leicester. However, I’ve probably just cursed us and we’ll lose 1-0 to a standard Jamie Vardy goal from a brain fart in our defence. I’m interested to see what the atmosphere is like today. A home game near the end of the window, with no players signed…. The music could be turned up to the loudest it’s ever been today.
Postecoglu has stated Maddison is sore from the Hoffenheim game and isn’t 100% and should be ok for next week. Makes sense not to risk him, never known an injury crisis like this. It’s absolutely absurd it’s the 26th Jan and we haven’t signed an outfield player yet.
It'll be interesting to see how many are actually here. Drive down was the quickest ever and the weather is poor... Some are brave though...
If anyone has any links for the game it would be much appreciated. Think it’s the first game for a long time not being shown on any channel. Sky are showing palace v Brentford instead which sounds terrible.
The chairs look like are squad.... If it's any consolation after being battered to hell from Storm Eoghan on Friday, we're flooded and blown to buggery by today's after-storm...
Back in the day, I'd go to the match, stand on open terraces in filthy, freezing weather and give not a jot. I remember going to watch us 'up north' against Port Vale, Forest, Oldham and a few others where it was ****ing atrocious, yet no problem. Now? Not a chance. Sure I'm an old man now, but it ain't that. Something has died at the club and I can't think that it is coming back any time soon. Good luck to the lads and lasses who are there today. I hope they see a great win, but it'll be a while before I rejoin them. COYS!!!
