Has he not? You seem to have made your mind up on him and want him sold without thinking about the consequences of having a worse second choice keeper. I don't know how you can pin the blame on yesterday's draw to Patterson yet not give him credit for clean sheets and very good performances in the games before it. He's not perfect and has a lot to learn but you seem to have a real agenda against him and are actually questioning his professionalism now
Says the guy who labelled Tommy Watson like a 14 year old on his debut yet a week later he's tearing it up against sheff utd. You need to think and engage your brain, if you have one, before making wild views.
I think he hasn't kicked on for a while and think we need better. He isn't helping himself with not living the cleanest life and as a pro athlete, I believe he should be doing better with that. This is also reflective in his body composition and complete change in last 18 months.
Don't get this Roberts stuff, isn't near the top of assists this season. He is involved in a lot of the goals we score even when not playing the final pass. He also makes space for others as most teams put a couple of players on him when he has the ball
Watson will be a very good player. That game he did get thrown about like a 14 year old. When there is space to run into he is very very good and he was class agaisnt Sheffield United.
That's an incredible statement to make. I'm sure you know all about his lifestyle and have inside info on his body fat and agility etc.
No he didn't. You said he should be nowhere near the first team. Some supporter of our young players with comments like that
There are plenty of people, people on this very thread who have said he is out every weekend. It's canny common knowledge.
How do you know her didn't shout? He didn't come out to claim the ball as it was nowhere near him. He wasn't slow for the first goal either, some people always seem to look for a scapegoat when results don't go our way
Just my observations on his performce and how I seen it. There were lots of poor performances across the team. The gaffer had a poor day too.
Not that I would believe what people say jn here about him being out, but players are allowed to go out. And if the club staff thought it was effecting him he wouldn't be in the team
So hearsay and rumour and you are making it out as fact..and so what if he goes out for a few beers on a weekend.
Patto doesn't even command his 6 yard box which should be a given, agreed the centre half's should have done better yesterday. A basic call from Patto to Onein and the ball would have bounced harmlessly to him for the 2nd goal. Coming off the line would narrow the angle to goal, look back at the good keepers in the UK and they were all vocal and commanded their 18yd box let alone the 6yd one. They also took out their defenders if they got in their way. I understand that a keepers job has changed and lots of keepers are rooted to the line I just don't get it tho. If the way Patto is being coached then how can we put all the blame on him but we need to defend better as a team. The amount of scrappy goals we concede is concerning, Plymouths keeper parried several shots in front of him but we didn't take advantage of it maybe we need to gamble more in the opposition box. It's all very frustrating and as a team they need to work on these problems
Moore is solid backup but Patterson is far and away the better keeper. Dropping him for Moore does not strengthen us and doesn’t take in to account the fact tge back four haven’t been quite on top form. I do wonder how happy Patto is and whether the club are entirely happy with him but now isn’t the time to replace him unless it’s with an undeniable upgrade. Yesterday Le Bris got it wrong. I understand why- he clearly thought the side should have enough to beat Plymouth even with some changes but the midfield just didn’t work. Samed wasn’t great and neither Neil or Jobe were at their best. Le Fee clearly has talent but he’s no left winger. Roberts was depended on for width but didn’t have anyone like Rigg to play quick incisive triangles with and looked below par. My honest opinion is shoehorning Le Fee in on the left impacts our shape and isn’t as effective as Aouchiche there whilst also reducing the effectiveness of others. If he starts at this point it has to be central.
If his behaviour and lack of professionalism is common knowledge then I'm sure the club know about it.
Mate he loves the drink anarl my mates have seen him on the piss far too many times for a professional footballer too
Quality shot stopper 100%. Not like he’s utter ****e. But his commanding of his box, his distribution, basically everything else is really badly average. I’ve thought this for a long time. Defending could be better aye but if Patto would come off his line or at least be able to move quicker we could feel so much more confident about defending a set piece
