I can feel our scouts popping up with another Snoddy type signing soon! its been too long since we have been shocked by an excellent signing!

I don't foresee many signings in Jan, to be honest.

Our defence is on the up, only a loan signing as cover if we need.
We have a lot of midfielders, but only four who are proven. Sam/Nunez/Varynyn/Brown - are they good enough to get us through to promotion? I'd still like to see someone like Frimpong come in to allow these players the freedom to have a shot.
Up top, imagine we'll buy Keogh but still missing Beckford if Ross isn't going to fill those boots long term.

I would say Sam, Nunez, Vayrynen and Brown are all good enough to play a part in a promotion winning midfield. Not necessarily as first choice starters but they're great back-up. Templeton might be a good shout for the wing, he's highly rated, Hearts are in trouble financially and I definitely think he would come.

think its time we stopped with right footed wingers on the left and vica versa, we create so much more with wingers on their natural side, sam on the right, snoddy on the left. white to back up the left, nunez or mccormack could play on right. dont think we need another winger, id prefer a commanding CB and a pacy RB

Because Gradel and Snodgrass never worked as a pairing...

anyone else think Paul Connolly has really proved his worth this season, we have had (compared to last season) a half decent defence this season. White, Lees, Kissa, Connolly have been good. Don't want to jinx it but maybe our defensive leaks have been plugged? On another note, let's all laugh at Keith Andrews, snubbed a promotion battle for a relegation fight, ****er!

A left winger is a must. With a fully fit midfield, the team picks itself, apart from that left wing. Pace and dribbling is needed. The only player I can think of that fits this is...Gradel.

I do realise that, I was pointing out the success of playing a right footer on the left and a left footer on the right.

But the left isn't Snoddy's natural side, he's far more effective cutting in from the right.

he scored from the left on saturday! he has the talent to play anywhere, its not him im worried about. just think sam could be a really effective player on the right but hes gash on the left

he didnt actually play left wing on saturday just to let you know. he was actually playing CM and roaming. I think snoddy should stay on the right but only because he is both footed really but more comfortable on the left. I would prefer a left footed winger on the left but it depends entirely on the style of play of the winger. I think the most important spot to fill ironically is LB which no one has mentioned yet. Pugh can fill that position well if white is playing further forward especially but I STILL DONT THINK WHITE IS GOOD ENOUGH AT LB. Not only that, there isn't much cover there. I also think that a RB would be nice in the shape of lichaj and maybe, just maybe a quality CM but i would say that is a lower priority (also assuming we sing pugh and keogh though)

I think he is very weak in a tackle and is incapable of performing an average throw-in, not bad going forward with pace but seems very indecisive and isn't all that when crossing either. Snods was definitely playing CM, he played LM for about 5-10 mins but the second half, predominantly was running things from a roaming role in a central position. Doesn't really matter, hes very adaptable and can play left but he is more effective from the right.

What about Jacob Butterfield out of contract in June could be a steal if the price is right another one for the future

Butterfield is Class but will deffo go to the premiership!

Snoddy played on the left on Saturday after 5 mins in the first half at CM but he was left for the second half deffo isnt as effective there but Sam is more effective there!
