Errrrmmmm, every football fan in the UK knows all geordies are deluded! had one season when you COULD of won the league and since then you all recon your a force haha!

    Its really pathetic!

The funny thing is that you are all oblivious to what the rest of the fans in the UK think of you and you think everyone recons your mint!

I'm be in the middle, he can be great for a large part of the match then ruin it by getting a silly booking or making a mistake when he's tryna be flash

personally i think cattermole's an absolute liability, a walking yellow card at best, and at worst capable of the kind of reckless, mindless tackles that end careers.

once we get meyler fit and firing, i don't expect to see cattermole anywhere near the team. bruce backed him out of loyalty and a sense that he was liable for him, given he signed the lad and made him captain, but o'neill won't need to make that mistake.

i know there's plenty who will give me stick, saying he's one of only a handful who've looked interested the past few weeks, but that doesn't make him a good footballer. dean whitehead ran himself into the ground for us week-in-week-out, but that doesn't mean he was actually any good.

I'd like to give O'Neill a chance to sort him out because we've all seen he can be good and he's still young. People have short memories about the anticipation when we brought him in and it isn't true to say everybody thinks he's ****e now, but he has seemed totally lost in a lot of the games.

When people try to make things black or white (haha no pun intened) they usualy miss the truth by a fair ways... I'd take the captaincy from him (almost bound to happen) and see what sort of footballing sense O'Neill can put into his noggin before I throw him away at a discount price (we'll have to wait until Bruce has a new job to get our cash back if we sell him anyway).

He's ok, but being captain, and playing in the midfield with Colback ain't helping him.

One of my favorite players was Bobby Kerr. Not the most gifted of players, but he made up for it by giving 110% every game that he played, and was an inspiration to others around him by his efforts. Catts could be that player once he has a good coach guiding him. He'll do alright.

Always makes me laugh when members of the jawdee nation rant on about Cattermole. Hes this, hes that does nothing but pick up cards. Scum Liability Blah blah.

    Last Season
    Tiote
    Yellows-20
    Red-1

    Cattermole
    Yellows-8
    Red-2

This season prior to today's game.
    Tiote
    Yellows-8
    Red-1

    Cattermole
    Yellows-9
    Red-0

Yet Tiote receives messiah status and is the best player in the league.

sorry mate but cattermole is one of our best player if you like it or not, he breaks up play starts attacks with a simple pass not a hollywood ball, he is always getting the players up for it and he is a very good player... also he is in his early twentys we could do alot worse! like a diving pre madona, like tiote or caybe or jonas????
