He certainly doesn’t fit the system Manning plays, and he has shown he has an eye for goal, which the stats you’ve posted tend to back up. However the Championship is a different beast, so is it thats it’s us that’s the problem, or is he just not suited to the championship?
I agree. I don’t think the Austrian league is as good a standard as the Championship (IMHO) so he’s now being tested far more than before. Also, this table lists ‘appearances’. Most of his appearances for us have been 10 minute cameo’s off the bench, so no real time to get into the game and do his thing.

We should have gone for this guy. Put in a cash plus player(s) (Cornick and maybe 1 other). He fits Mannings style of forward, cut in from the flanks, but unlike anyone we have now, he likes to shoot from 15-25 yards out, not pass it….
The worrying thing for me is both Fally and even more so Yu looked pretty good when they arrived, both have fallen off a cliff recently, and both look completely lacking in confidence. Yu in particular used to look to go forward as soon as he got the ball, now he just passes back, he looks frightened to take on his man, he looks like he’s had the attacking intent coached out of him and looks totally lacking in confidence.
