He's hot and cold for me. Wouldn't surprise me if he goes on a run. Also wouldn't surprise me if he does **** all
Just didn't happen for Rusyn. He looked lively at times, remember him absolutely thwacking the post (Roker End, Birmingham at home maybe?!) with the keeper beaten. Kind of summed it up for him a bit I thought. Not every one of these signings is going to be a smash hit unfortunately.
Good news for the everyone. He didn't settle, had language problems too. He had a number of minor opportunities to step into the side, which he wasn't able to take. Hope this move works out for him.
Just strange all the round really. Chased forever. Never gave a proper chance but also looked like he wouldn't fit. Be a bit of a loss on the deal you'd imagine. Again though, it's wages being removed that will help with us.
It felt like a hedged deal from the start. When he was bought it was into a situation where we still had both Clarke and Stewart, but could also still lose both. I think he came in as a player who they thought could cover both and react to the loss of either. Ended up dissatisfying across the board. He probably would have done better off the left but he was never gonna get a run with Clarke here - and Mundle surpassed him quickly.
I don’t think he had that thing needed to be a forward ie wasn’t explosive enough, a skill or trick. Beyond work rate and aggression which even wingers need in this division I couldn’t see where he would impact. Potentially he had a neat finish but nowt that would get him in the position to use it. Strange signing I think, not sure what caught the eye, but he’s gone somewhere decent. Maybe slower paced football is his thing.
The more I think about this. The boro season suits our system playing in mayendas role when central. And offers compeititon wide I still have major doubts over form though
