So the fans get a 90 min opportunity to quiz Methven & Co last night (albeit heavily controlled), and no surprise the club gives a couple of free hits to their semi house trained poodle, commonly known as CAST. I wish Heather could have seen the comments on a real CAFC What’s App group on her two blathering pathetic questions. For those lucky enough to miss it .. 1. She first invited Methven & Carter to guess what she had been asked to ask them. They looked at each other bewildered before eventually saying basically can you just ask your question 2. “The sign”. This tactic is known in political circles as “the Whips hand out question”. Could Charlie confirm that the installation of the new sign today confirms the club’s intention to reach out to the wider community. Nothing from CAST on the budgets, the league position, the lack of signings in January, the top heavy SMT. Nothing. Just a question about a fvcking tin sign. What's worse - does anyone seriously believe the CAST leadership consulted their members on these questions ? Of course not - hobby horses of their nice leadership, again. CAST needs to stop taking fivers under the false pretence they are a genuine fan’s representative body. Go back to home making goosebury jam and knitting bras in your spare time - it’s a better use of it.
"I saw the sign, it opened up my eyes I saw the sign Life is demanding, without understanding..." Ace of Base, 90's sometime.
Listening to the questioning by the CAST woman, it's embarrassing to the point I am almost speechless.
When they have been challenged previously on their craven brown nosing (don’t forget they were right up Sandgaard’s jacksy too), Heather & Co smugly reply with “no doubt we don’t reflect the view of all fans”. I think that’s an almost verbatim quote of a response from Wiseman. The problem with CAST is that outside of their clique of a half a dozen, they don’t represent the views of anybody. We wanted to hear from Methven about the lack of signings, not a new sign. The fact that he already had a slide & long, long answer pre prepared to Heather’s question kind of suggests he knew in advance ??
More choreography than Strictly I expect. And more murky behind-the-scenes misbehaviour too I shouldn't wonder...
They need to ask 'closed' questions, "Scott has been a failure, he should not be at the club", and so on. After last night, the woman should step down.
Needed a “hasn’t he?” after it In @ElfsborgAddick defence, he was kept behind in Primary School for the last 7 years of his education due to his suspicious height.
To elicit answers from someone you ask open questions not closed. I learnt that at the many management training courses I was sent on.
