How reliable is the guy posting about Akpom? Good source, or are people just getting a bit desperate for a signing?
Seems a legit source but the latter is also playing a big part in the heavy lifting, as usual it's never one thing.
Not overly excited about the Akpom link. My ex manager is a big Boro fan and she was over the moon when they got their big fee after only 1 proper good season for them.
Contract talks still on hold, club not offered much of an improvement on current deal. Won’t leave this window, Everton and West Ham links nothing in them and he’s recently bought a new house near the training ground. stead otr regarding Dan neil. Will be 100% accurate info
Do we think Akpom will be able to link well with Isidor ? Could just as easily rent it out and get a place in London, hoping this isn't the case like.
Maybe they should offer a promotion bonus that would be the difference between current wage and what he would get as a prem wage.
Like others Akpom is a great signing but for me it depends on the package we are offering. have faith in them to offer a deal more in our favour now mind so would expect it to be a loan with permanent going up for say 5-7m but if we pay above 10m then I’d be concerned. can’t fault the ambition mind, I’d be happy.
He knows the league and scores goals. He’ll add (if he comes) a different dimension to us going forward.
Not spoke to her in a while. She said he was brilliant that season, but it was a bit like when Wyke had that season where McGeady kept putting it on a plate for him.
29 goals in our league 22/33 and he’s scored 15 jn 36 and 8 in 30 since. Would be a huge signing for us imo
Not saying he isn’t planning on staying as I know **** all either way. But when ya already on good money and a move to the premier league is going to put ya on £30-40k a week buying a house must be **** all isn't exactly a big commitment. Just buy another one and rent that one out! If I was a footballer at championship level (£5-10k a week) I'd be buying houses throughout my career anyway to make sure I had a similar income for my retirement, premier league on £100k + a week there must be better way to invest ya money for the retirement!
Just in terms of a breakdown from his 28 goals in the league that season: 7 headers 14 right foot 7 left foot Isidor: 0 headers 7 right foot 1 left foot Mayenda: 0 headers 1 right foot 3 left foot Definitely gives us multiple ways to score goals as he was a threat from corners with 4 from corners and 1 from a free kick crossed in - would imagine Le Fee has better delivery than they had at the time.
Would be absolutely massive for us there’s no sugarcoating it really. Could really push us over the line. Not sure if we can manage to get it done though. Let’s see
