I'm strange, I often accompany Mrs Two to clothes shops and don't look at clothes, as I was the designated driver on hundreds of away trips I've also had gallons of water in pubs.
I also don't give much of a **** (just enough to respond to this) for any tosspot that finds me strange.
    That is all. :emoticon-0138-think

Because they won’t marry an elderly uncle from abroad or because they dare to fall in love with someone of a different religion?

You will have discussed the game in the pub before the match, and during the match as you were actually there, and in the pub afterwards. Though I bet the words whose round is it were uttered more than xGs, low blocks and transitioning through the thirds.

I think the story he was referring to was about the Polish man in Edinburgh being sentenced to life in prison. He wasn’t Muslim.

He was referring to a Scottish bloke who murdered his young daughter and committed suicide two days ago.
I was answering his question about which sort of father would do that and gave him some examples.

I was. British media has been a lot more sensitive and circumspect than where I initially read in foreign media, so on reflection, I shouldn't have referred to it.

This is exactly what has literally enraged me.
I get, and I guess nearly every other sensible person can get, that there's stuff that can't be shared at the time because they can't run the risk of derailing (what was expected to be) the coming hearing. But that doesn't mean that you then deliberately mislead the public. The angelic photo (v's the demonic reality) was just one example.
And then they wonder why there is next to no trust in the 'authorities' anymore. Meanwhile, they stand there talking about transparency, truth, etc etc.

But we don’t know what happened, or do we? The police haven’t established what happened? They found the bodies of the two people, last I read they had only just opened up the investigation and hadn’t done a post mortem?

They haven't done a post mortem yet, but it's pretty clear they think it's a murder/suicide and they're not currently looking for anyone else.

That was the one helmand referred to. I would say it was pretty obvious what happened. Happy to be proven wrong and that he didn’t murder his daughter. But, unfortunately, don’t think I will be. TWT.

Two tier kier announces a clampdown on amazon for selling knifes online, will in future require two forms of ID. I suppose the terrorists will have to go to the kitchen drawer then.
It's not the knife that kills but the knife wielder.

Was drinking Carling at £2 a pint (door open) in Diva's on Tuesday night, avoiding karaoke night in Ebenezer's. What a bleedin' dive, a scuffle took place which the dj broke up, when he got back to his console some gobshite shouted 'got any Carl Douglas', sometimes I can't help myself. :emoticon-0138-think

Telegraph carrying a 'previously confidential' report that around 1 in 12 (near 600k) of London's population are illegal immigrants. 1 in 12. Let that sink in. Migration 'experts' suggest the actual figure is likely higher (as logic would also suggest).
    Transparency eh.
And coupled with the knife crime and general crime epidemic, what does it take for a National Emergency to be declared? Do they wait until it's more than 1 in 10? 1 in 5? Until there even more lives lost? How many?
Perhaps we should take a lead from across the pond? Why not? Maybe because it would mean serious emergency action to sort the crises would then need to follow?
I despair, I really do. What will it take?
