    Leeds United v Norwich City

    Wednesday 22nd January@19:45 | Elland Road

Leeds could be without the services of Brendan Aaronson on Wednesday evening, when they host Norwich City at Elland Road.

The USA International took a knock to his knee late on during the 3-0 win against the blue side of Sheffield, and was replaced by Josuha Guilavogui. With little time to recover between now and Wednesday, the gaffer will have to improvise; but has several options.

Either Largie Ramazani or Willy Gnonto could fill the void. Both could do with a run-out, having seen limited game time recently. Belgium ace Ramazani scored the second half equaliser in the reverse fixture in early October, cancelling out Josh Sargent's 15th minute penalty.

Central defender Pascal Struijk looks likely to miss out too after a flare-up of his hamstring injury. He went for scans over the weekend, the results of which have not been released yet. Patrick Bamford is Leeds only other casualty. The 31yo will be sidelined for another 3 weeks with a recurring hamstring injury Ilea Gruev (knee), Junior Firpo (hamstring) and Max Wober (knee) all made the bench at weekend, with Gruev managing 20 minutes.

Norwich, currently in 11th, 20 points behind the Whites are going through an injury and suspension crisis. They were so thin on the ground at the weekend when they faced Sheffield United, that Canaries boss Johannes Thorup was forced to name a bench featuring six youngsters with only two substitute league appearances between them.

The midfield is particularly hard-hit, with Marcelino Nunez, Liam Gibbs, Jacob Sorensen, Anis Ben Slimane, Gabriel Forsyth and Tony Springett all sidelined. To compound matters, star man and Championship top scorer Borja Sainz (15) is serving a six-match ban for spitting at Sunderland's Chris Mepham last month. New signing Matej Jurasek is ineligible due to post-Brexit regulations, whilst latest casualty Jose Cordoba has a knee injury.

Well out of 27 games so far this season, ChatGPT has correctly predicted 17 correct results (ie Win Lose or Draw) of which 6 of those have been the correct score line.

Gemini has predicted 15 correct results, 2 of which have been the exact score line, whilst my pathetic attempt has been 13 correct results, with 1 correct score line

So Gemini is hardly much better than my method of just predicting this seasons score as being what the result was last season, where as ChatGPT is only slightly ahead on getting results right, but has got the exact score correct 22% of the time.

Don't think the bookmakers are going to be too concerned about this data :emoticon-0140-rofl:

I got us beating Sheff Wed away correct at 0-2.

Gemini got the 1-1 draw away at Norwich and the 2-1 win at home to Watford correct.

ChatGPT has got the home win against Watford (2-1), the home win against QPR (2-0), the home win against Derby (2-0), the away draw at Preston (1-1), the away win at Derby (0-1) and the home win against Sheff Wed (3-0) all correct

33% correct scores in the programme predictions after taking into account the Sheff Weds game, nearly made it 6 correct scores if it had stayed 2-0.

They have so many out along with their kingpin upfront should be a comfortable night for a team top of the league right?

Going the prawn sarnie hospitality route to watch my first home match of the season. Digging out my 60 yr old scarf from my first ER visit in 64/65. Hope we turn in a good performance, for my lad and myself (and rest of the sell out crowd). We just need to press them from the start, get a lead, then build on it. Sounds easy doesn’t it :emoticon-0107-sweat:emoticon-0107-sweat
but hopefully they’ll follow the script. Hoping Burnley struggle to a draw. MOT
