It looks to me that we have an injury crisis on our hands, and the squad is woefully thin to cover it. Tom was hoping for a new keeper for tonight, but didn't get one.

Tom didn’t want to risk Georgi and TDB I guess but were probably needed .
I see we were bitten by the same striker, 4 ****ing times over 2 games
Annoying loss, I expected it we can't seem to string results together and now have injury issues.

Our passing game got us nowhere and we lost the ball so many times. That has to go down to TC. As in previous games when we went forward and attacked which looked much better.
I gave up at half time - was feeling ill so went to bed.
It looks as though I did the right thing - had I watched the second half I'd probably have ended up back in hospital.

Were there abusive chants last night??

The abusive chants regarding Gino Pozzo last night was simply pathetic. Made by a section of our support who can muster no more than one brain cell between them.
Criticism, emotion and opinion are of course normal for all football fans and should not be repressed. But such personal abuse against one of our Watford family is simply unacceptable.
I feel compelled to call this out because this should not represent Watford football club, a family community club.
Instead its core is being soiled by imbeciles who feel so entitled, they feel they can say what they want, about who they want, when they want.
The owners have put plenty into this club and simply do not have the wealth. While I am frustrated about the lack of transfer activity when reinforcements are needed, they do not deserve such a chant

In the past we had an easy route out of player needs. Get on the phone to Udinese and request two or three people who need some game time. Udi appear to have been cutting costs as there are no players who stand out, and would help Watford when there is an injury crisis. Urgent action is needed to find some replacements, but Watford need to look elsewhere.
They seem to be getting a few players too .
But is that Pozzo Snr running the show there ?
Baah was on crutches in the SEJ stand second half it seems looking as fed up as the fans !
Even easier before the Pozzo regime - didn't we sign a job lot of seven players on loan from Leicester back in the late 40s?

TBH people want us to sign loads of players which I think is their issue because we aren't.
Now it's not Championship manager so that isn't going to happen but we probably do need some cover for the injuries now.

I presume the people saying it aren’t the ones complaining about the team selection , tactics and style of play which are down to the manager unfortunately.
If they are saying there isn’t much Cleverley can do then fair enough but even with a limited squad we can play better than we did v Preston .
