I'd be tempted to let him go if we got a decent offer TLT could be #2 imo for the reason of the season if it freed up money
Glad we had that conversation with Racioppi telling him he wasn't wanted, to now needing him to stick around
It’s a shame as I think there’s a decent keeper in Racioppi. He made a mistake and hasn’t even got a sniff
If it had been Walter that's how it would have gone down, but I am sure Selles was a bit more diplomatic than that. Probably something along the lines of "I feel like you would be better off seeking a move elsewhere as I have made the difficult decision to start Rushworth and have Pandur as his backup, rather than allow Brighton to recall him. If anything should change however, I am more than happy to have you as Pandur's backup and challenging him for the number 1 spot". Something like that.
Feel even more sorry for Racioppi given that there aren't even any more cup games for him to feature in. What a waste of time. I get these things happen all across football, but we don't half seem to **** players about. Jarvis, Oscar, Longman and now Racioppi for example.
Or... we have no option than to play Rushworth and Pandur has been excellent, but im sure you dont want to be sat around waiting until the season end.
That would be incredibly risky, even stupid & reckless, given the dire situation we are currently in.
After last night's performance he was probably told that Pandur would be recalled to play against the Piggies and maybe Brighton wanted him back so they could loan him elsewhere
So did we play him just to try and curry favour and think they’ll let him stay ?? Yet another bizarre signing As was said in the summer The money spent on rushworth coulda gone towards a better centre forward!! Absolutely mental decision making yet again
No it wouldn't don't be so dramatic, TLT is a very good GK. It's not going to happen but I was just saying it wouldn't be a disaster if we could get good money for Racioppi and the player wanted to go
