i know, the narrative is snowballing that we will only win it because of injuries to other teams... That said there is obviously some truth in saying that atm winning the league is all about hoping this is the season City slip up - it's been that way since 2017. Bit rich though to say to a team that twice got 90+ points and still never won the league (never been done before in the history of the league, never mind the Prem) that we are 'lucky' City have imploded this season, and were doing so even before they got several more injuries than Rhodri.
Read my huge post. There's not really an injury narrative, it's objective facts. You can't argue that the league winners aren't always the ones with the fewest injuries. They are. You could argue it's coincidence. But why would it be coincidence? What other reason is there for Liverpool being so miles off the pace in 20/21? City have just had ridiculous luck to have had the fewest injuries so many years in a row. Indeed City were the lucky ones that YOU had so many injuries for a couple of their long title-winning run and even got so close to them on occasion. However, as an Arsenal fan I do begrudge that the only two times in recent history that we were good enough to vaguely challenge were two years that City had fewer injuries than us as well as one of the best teams and squads ever seen. Whereas twice now (if we assume this season runs its course) you will have had great seasons and coincided it with City being well off it and therefore you've gone onto win the title. Why can't we be good when City aren't. Not fair. No team has yet gone toe to toe with financially-doped City in a genuine title race and beaten them.
You need to come on here more on match days, well unless you actually go to games, but I know most Arsenal supporters don't. Because all you've written there is utter word soup that has no meaning whatsoever, other than tear drops.
Well you seem to do a lot of crying after games, we're here to help you if you turn up on match days, you can tell us where Arteta is going wrong, and what King Pep would do differently.
There’s never a lot that’s interesting being discussed on match days in this thread though. Not much actual football chat and/or vaguely good banter. A lot of insults and veiled anger and windup comments. But most of the time that’s it. There’s a few posters who post things I find interesting lurking around but they spend more time on their own boards than this one it appears. Just as an example… this comment about injuries. Not many really care about discussing injuries for example. So far it’s just been windup comments about crying and tears. So it just ends up being boring.
So what you are saying is you don't think much of the people who post on here, no football chat, vaguely bantar and the only interesting ones post on their board. Bloody Newcastle fans for yer that is. I don't know who has been posting about injuries to upset you, but point them out and I'll ban them for you. Anyway how's the bench warmer Sterling doing, talk about City and money, seems like Arsenal don't care about clubs chucking money down the drain, and you have geonocidal nation sponsoring your shirt sleeves, ok for Arsenal but not the Tories, funny ole world.
Not really banter or football chat. It just reads like a thinly veiled ‘**** off’. That’s a pretty good example of why I can’t be bothered to post much on here.
This isn’t a charity. No-one comes on here for anything more than what they can get out of it themselves. There’s only two spurs posters I find consistently interesting and they’re rarely on here.
I do keep telling @PISKIE to behave himself but he never listens. Who are these two Spurs supporters btw?
Most posters I can’t really remember. But… some examples of some I sort of can I think: Category 1 posters are those who I find interesting to actually engage with as they do actually discuss football now and then and/or are quite funny with banter. Might barely ever engage with any of them but they write sound stuff most of what I see, or at least have amusing banter: Solid Air 2 Bodinki Remembercolinlee (is that their name?) KingHotspur (maybe? But can’t remember if it’s actually them or if they’re a loony) The bear Moreinjuredthanowen I think Category 2 posters are not interesting to engage with as I find them tiresome and/or too biased, angry and insane, but they’re amusing to read comments from in the same way it’s amusing to read Donald Trump social media posts or side eye crazy people on the other side of the street: Humanbeingincroydon Pleasenotpoll Probably others that I can’t remember (Sandy Brown was a historic favourite) Category 3 are not interesting full stop. They neither talk about football in a remotely interesting way or manage to even write amusing nonsense or banter: Sucky Libby The two Newcastle ones (there’s a second one isn’t there?) The Leicester dude I think citizen Kane might be a cat1 too but can’t really remember.
