He scored the 5th, Stuart Green scored the 6th with a last minute free kick that cost me £200 on my bet as I had 5 - 1 and big Ben as 1st scorer, haven't bothered betting since <laugh>

Think I've only ever seen us score 6 twice that and Fulham. Can't even remember any others.

Backed Puerta first scorer again at 25/1 and for him to score 2 @ 275/1

I'm limited by him taking corners and long throws...

Not the same vibes as for the Millwall fixture.

And then beat them 3-1 at their place the same season, that was a good away day.

We beat Swansea 7-4 in 1997/98.

Lively season that too, we also lost 5-4 away at Rotherham. As memory serves they were 5-0 or 5-1 up at HT, and they were practically ****ting their pants at the end

think tonights going to be a great game
two teams in decent form, i can see at least 3 goals

but for god sake, we need to sort this out

full league table home form so far...
5 points less than the next worst team

We put 7 past Barnsley 1964/1965. 6 past Exeter following season when we won promotion. And. most memorably in 1966/1967 season when we put 6 past Northampton, we had put 5 past Norwich in the first of the 3 games, in the middle of 3 home games in 8 days in front of a total of over 90,000 fans. Won’t see those days again, unfortunately.

    Was at both.

The Rotherham one was at Xmas time. I nearly walked out at 5-1, then Hodges scored.

I think Dewhurst nearly equalised at the end for 5-5.

Also: Crewe - 7-1 in 1993/4 - Linton Brown hattrick in under 10 mins. Crewe actually played some good football but we were clinical.

Didn't we beat Charlton 6-0 under Bruce and maybe Bolton 6-0 under Adkins?

Recall playing DQPR in the mid 70s. That season they were tearing the 2nd division a new one...They had a cracking side with the likes of Parkes, Bowles, Thomas, Givens, Masson etc...etc...They hadn't lost when they came to BP in late October...City were mid table fodder. A away win was a certainty. But City being City they put in a tremendous performance and stuffed them 4-1...Recall at f/t the entire West Stand getting to their feet to clap them off...Never saw that again.

Oh yes that's three I've seen then. Always forget the score of that one because of the bizarre circumstances.
