But it used to be a constitutional right and people want that back.

I’m all for it, I think it’s absurd for a woman not to be able to choose by the way.. I understand the UK is nowhere near as religious as the US though so it’s a bit different asking them to OK it as it is asking us when it’s totally normal to us. But why didn't the democrats bring it back in the last four years? Or under Obama? Why is it all of a sudden a huge thing now?

It’s only 2 years since the abortion rights were taken away. It was taken away by the ridiculous Supreme Court, which is full of old men.

I do agree, it was ridiculous but come on.. “abortion rights” yet women still couldn’t actually get an abortion still in most states. It might as well have been a token gesture anyway. Regardless of what I think about that though the rights were taken away under Democratic power, whilst Harris was VP.. so I’m still unsure why it’s a massive thing now? What would they have done different now to what they could’ve done in the last few years?

In all states women could get abortions in the first 2 months of pregnancy since the Roe v Wade act in 1973. Some states further into pregnancy, and some states definitely made it difficult, but legally you could get an abortion. The democrats couldn’t uphold the abortion act 2 years ago as they were in the minority in Congress. Nothing Harris or Biden could have done about it at that time. It went to the Supreme Court where it was struck down after 50 years.

There’s much more to it than that and previous democratic presidents could have acted to preserve the act but didn’t! (Clinton and Obama) So missed the opportunity.

Yep, nothing to see here. Just Donald's favourite egotistical man-child appearing to make a nazi salute at a rally today.

God help us.

it will be ok if you are a white american man in the states;

just building a bunker,

First he demands the hostages are released by the time he gets in. One day before his inauguration the first hostages are handed over and now this.

He’s a ****er but he’s not a warmonger.

To be honest it will be argued both ways but it wasn't the cleverest thing to do me thinks
He’s been cosying up to the ADF for the last month. It doesn't take much of a leap to suggest it was a Nazi based salute. In fact the (massive) leap would be to suggest it is something innocent or a coincidence.

Exactly. Plus he has a bit of a history of making racist remarks.

Blokes a moron
If you’re talking about the comments made in Charlottesville about “fine people on both sides” then that one was debunked years ago. You may well mean other comments though.

Edit: Actually I need to read your comment better. You were referring to Elon Musk. My apologies.
