Showing other keepers making howlers does not excuse Meslier. At his best, Meslier is the best keeper at the club. When his confidence is shot he is the worst keeper in the football league. His confidence is shot at the moment.
Just pointing out all keepers make them even the 200k a week ones. Wednesdays keeper basically handed us yesterdays game with his first minute howler
He clearly isn’t otherwise he would be in but that fact doesn’t make Mes any better as a keeper. However, I accept he will be in goal for the season. He’s cost us nine points so let’s hope that’s it.
