Global economy has already contracted over a trillion dollars because of the Trump memecoin. He had his people pull the rug out under inverstors during the inaugeration and the resulting crash has spread throughout other crypto currency, like bitcoin causing over $1trillion USD damage to the global economy. I'm sure it will all bounce back when people and algorithms that monitor and auto buy/sell adjust and realise this was just a scam for Trump to steal money from his followers.... it's not a permanent crash, but still funny. Update, looks like things have already stabilize and begun to reverse.
Must admit I've never liked or agreed with the idea of electric cars. I can just about see there feasibility, on a small Island like ours, but can't say I ever want to own one. Whenever I hear/read about electric cars it only ever seems to be bad stuff, breaking down, running out, catching fire, yes I know fossil fuel cars do that to. I really thought we should have gone Hybrid, something I have been in and liked, and if I was like Trump and in power, would I bin them off, yes, but I'd promote an alternative alongside fossil fuel driven motors, whereas Trump don't listen to inbetween solutions.

Electric cars are a stop gap. They use in the main off peak energy that would be lost to the grid. Hydrogen is the way forward, but hybrid/electric mix is a good stepping stone.
He's no different to China. China claiming everything that a Chinese man has ever looked at as Chinese territory, Trump is doing the same. No doubt about it, we're in the second age of imperialism now.
His argument is they donated it to them, he don't like the charges American ships including the Navy are being charged. He claims China run it, and America didn't donate it to him. I don't know the history of it, so can't really comment.
So Trump is right then. No one has ever said electric is a stop gap, certainly not what I've ever heard anyone say. and tbph if electric is a stop gap it's a fooking ridiculous one.
