Moving the wasp discussion over here so not to pollute the Premier League thread... Random bit of trivia... Everyone thinks ants evolved from wasps, and they kind of did, but they're actually more related to bees. Bees and Wasps split a long time ago, and ants actually split from bees not wasps. So your average ant is actually genetically closer to your average bee than it is a hornet or a common wasp. There, didn't you all want to know that interesting bit of trivia today? Oh, and termites evolved from early Cockroaches.
I suppose that actually makes a little sense termites don't look like ants even though both have nests. Bee nests and wasp nets look a bit different but then what can't you get honey from an ant?
Originaly bees were carnivorous when they first split from wasps- ants presumably split from bees before the lineage of honey producing bees. There is something called a honeypot ant... not the same thing... but they have big sugary abdomen (I don't recall why) that people eat because it tastes like honey.
that is true, ants are eaten. i suppose this field of interested is called entomology? Wasps are like crocidiles and cockroaches cos they are grumpy old ****s nobody can get rid of. Bees and termites are uppity angry upstarts.
Why on earth would anyone in the bbc was a barely literate, deeply compromised person who can barely speak in interviews already on their show? They fired jeans didn't they? Rooney has been caught playing away several.times with hookers and grannies. I'd have zero interest in hearing a guy who can barely string a sentence together trying to talk about football.
Tbf, Mexico is America as well, so it's not entirely inappropriate - but we all know Trump's motives, and the fact that the US is only a fraction of America is probably news to him anyway.
Actually america is mexicana so it's entirely down to which Spanish name you want to give. America is just the name given by the Spanish court to shaft columbus. They should actually name it oil pond and move on.
I seem.to recall reading that "Gulf of Mexico" was named after a city not the country and predates the country's existence.
