I have seen plenty of derbys against our neighbours from up east over the years. Very few of them have been one sided although in recent times apart from the draw earlier in the season one of the sides has been very poor. Us last saturday. Yet again the LW show where we play so slowly and across the back the Cardiff players could have gone for a pint. No enthusiasm from most of the players and very little talk from the captain on the pitch. The last 5 minutes and some fighting between the players and their manager having a tantrum but that was it...so sorry for the mascots that ran over to our seats before the game doing the swim away. So happy and looking forward to a good game like the rest of us that had travelled on the police convoy of coaches. Very disappointed. Thats 3 consecutive away games 10 conceded and not a sniff of a goal to console us.
When the squad came over to the fans at the end of the game with LW not too close mind some clapped them???? but there were many boos which has now happened at Portsmouth and Southampton as well.. there is definitely something wrong behind the scenes for the performances to be so putrid recently.
Wasn't Coles the Southampton fan who posted something dreadful after a Pompey fan passed away at their game on Saturday? He has since posted an apology - in fear for his job and health maybe? I haven't seen what he posted. Sorry, got that wrong. I see Terry Coles was the Swans fan killed in an incident with a police horse in Sheffield a few years ago. However there was an issue with a Southampton fan's offensive post at the weekend. Apologies again.
