With the war now over, I think I can plead for username clemency and an early end to my sentence for good behaviour @PISKIE I thank you in advance for your fairness on this.
Only just seen the news and three hostages released, so a good start, don't know what condition they are in, will catch up on it later.
Including Emily Damari from here. Spurs fan I think or at least there was a lot about her at Spurs games to publicise her plight. I won’t make a joke about her asking to go back after hearing the score today.
Yes. First time the Red Cross has seen them in 471 days was today. They were released surrounded by thousands of people, largely male, who seemed pretty clear in their belief that taking them hostage in the first place was the will of Allah.
They looked terrified when they were handed over. Loads of civilian Palestinians came out to surround them and were taunting them.
All looking in good spirits considering the no food and water for 15 months of genocide. Makes you think.
Are you implying that the Hamas led authorities may not have been totally honest with everyone? Shame on you.
I have to ask, are Hamas ****ing idiots? You have a multinational agreement in place amongst a world superpower and regional powers, the nation that has been battering you into ****ing oblivion for the past few months finally agrees to let you breath all based on one major point - you release the hostages. So, to release them you parade them in front of a ****ing platoon of armed men and civilians any of which could accidentally discharge a weapon or purposely fire on them, reigniting the conflict in seconds. Even if there is only a 1% chance of that happening, why would you risk it?
Just catching up with the story of Hussein Awda, who was hoping to return to his three-story house adjacent to a sports club he owns in the Jabalia "refugee camp".
Also bringing down the cost of groceries in US shops, securing borders, and imposing tariffs on China. He’s gonna be busy
please log in to view this image What is left of Jabalia in northern Gaza The death and destruction here is just staggering. Women, Children, grandparents, families, pets, schools, people's homes, livelihoods and memories. Obliterated
