Think it’s Hollywood fawning all over itself because it’s a film making a big statement about age and ego.

It’s a film that starts ok, but very quickly goes downhill before the most ridiculous ending you’ll see.

I ended up in stitches laughing because it was so ridiculous, but wasn’t sure that’s how I was suppose to feel.

Complete crap, literally wanted to turn off after 10-15 mins but gave it an episode chance, big mistake. Awful acting, she’s really good in slow horses so thought it would be good, horses for courses I suppose, because in this , she’s rank….

I do like Bill Nighy in things, even though he always plays Bill Nighy.

Not seen this yet but in everything else I also like his suits!

Funny you should post this now, we’ve just been on FaceTime with junior discussing when we’re going to see it.

Dylan’s his favourite artist, he’s seen him live five times and everyone reckons he’s the spitting image of Chamalet, so I’m planning on calling him Tim while we’re there so we get special treatment. <laugh>

Absolutely, I rarely waste time watching anything less than a 7, unless I need an action film, as they rarely get over that. **** at 7.4 is something of an anomaly. Is it new out?

It’s been out a good few months but over 200.000 people have given it a rating to get its 7.4. No idea how.

Same. Always check critic rating too. Anything less than 65 usually means it’s cheesy and predictable. <cheers>

Just to offer a different opinion; I thought Mr Inbetween was poorly acted and seemed to be scripted by a teenager. Too cringe to finish season 1.

Black doves was good though. Also recommend Silo Season 2.

In other news; Severance season 2 is being released weekly. I won't be even dabbling until it has finished I guess.

Maybe I’ll have to give it another go

I got about 20 mins into the first episode and although it looked nice it was so slow I got bored and turned it in off.

Started an American crime drama series called
“ Bosch.” I’m 7 episodes in and I’ve got to say it’s bloody good. Its quality reminds me of hill street blues for those old enough to remember. Bosch is the lead character but his side kick partner is also a cracking actor and quite funny. “ No way that old ****ing drunk got a body up that hill “ if you watch it you’ll come across that part. Theres 8 series and he’s also in a spin off called “ Bosh legacy “ where he’s left the police force to become a private investigator… well worth a watch if you like this sort of series….
