I don’t think I have much to say that hasn’t already been said. He should’ve gone weeks back if we’re honest, albeit I did predict in the summer after the window shut that late Jan/ Feb would be hammer time so I guess there’s still a week or so for that prediction to happen. Hate Levy, Ange is crap, Spurs are awful as the result of the pair.
We also managed to turn a C-league manager into a Premier League coach. What next, Liz Truss for Prime Minister?!
His post match interview will be interesting! Anyway, it looks like s great relegation battle between us and Utd. One of those "too big to go down" years you feel..,.
Son is trying to calm our fans down. Comfortably the worst captain I've ever seen in a Spurs shirt. And I remember Chris Perry wearing the armband.
But at least we are good to watch though right? I’d take appalling football and some 1-0 wins right now. I mean we are playing appalling football for much of the games anyway!
Could well be one of us or United to make the 3rd drop spot. Personally I'm starting to think that it wouldn't be the worst thing for us to be that club...
That’s gotta be the end of him. Ahh well. New face incoming. Few decent results, then a load of similar problems, as well as his own deficiencies, such as the timings of subs, starting line ups etc, which the fans will pull him up on. Then a summer window where we don’t sign what we need in time for the start of the season, don’t get rid of who we need, and also lose a player or two we’d rather have kept. Followed by another season unprepared, only to be desperate for new faces in January, where arrivals won’t appear, and where results will gradually get worse and the fans will call for the managers head, whilst pockets of fans will sing levy out every now and again. I’m off to watch Groundhog Day.
I think he still believes Ange needs 100s of games before judging. If we give him 100s of games under ENIC, we’ll be judging his performance as manager as a midtable Championship club.
Just FYI, I wasn't trying to be facetious when I said I liked him - as a man, he does seem like a sound bloke. But I do think this job is too big for him and he's making mistakes that are within his control. He's out of his depth and feels like it's only a matter of time before the inevitable. I really do wonder who you'll go for next. I know Edin Terzic was on your shortlist previously, so curious if you'll go back in for him.
how, exactly? We’ll be stuck with Levy as he tries to claw his way back, and the valuation of the club is back at £4b Non of this ends well for us!!!
