Absolute credit to him too. The fact he’s still grafting for a manager that’s mugged him off all season shows that maybe his attitude really weren’t as bad as some were saying.
Well done Dr Tottenham. You’ve managed to turn a man who hadn’t scored in 16 matches, into a man of the match performance and a goal. Bravo.
Im actually praying that Ange himself knows that that’s that, and in his interview after the match says: “Yeah mate, another disappointing day, but not as disappointing as that bald twat who’s failed to help me and the boys. In what world, with our injury crisis, does the club of this size not buy players in a transfer window? Absolutely clueless.”
3-2 FT. A scoreline not reflective of the overall game, but Everton went too defensive and nearly threw it away. Absolutely awful and that's got to be time up for the manager, I'm afraid. Ridiculous lineup and tactics, late subs and he did nothing on the sideline.
At least it was only 1-0. That’ll be huge in a couple of months when goal difference between the bottom 3 is worth at least a point.
They had 5 clear cut chances to our two which says it all. We can’t defend and the first two goals were so bad. The final score is flattering
Surely untenable. Make no bones about it, Everton are **** and Calvert-Lewis one of the worst strikers in the league yet we’ve made them look like world beaters. That level of ineptness is impressive in itself.
Will be a miracle if Ange keeps his job after that. The late goals will deflect from an appalling first half performance against a rank average Everton, but I cannot imagine it will be enough to save him. Not all his fault by any means, but there are too many negatives for which he is totally responsible.
I can’t see us getting anything from Anfield or Villa Park so that could be 2 of them done in a couple of weeks time!
The lad is quality, real quality. And we have the basis for one helluva decent side that could develop in the Championship and take the PL by storm in 26/27.
