Eddie has proven himself at this level. Iraola could be sacked by July…… we just don’t know. To his credit they were great today.

Bournemouth were in big trouble when he took over and it wasn't going well , but boy has he got them playing football.

It's a draw atm but i have a feeling this guy is the real deal.

Why would we want an ex-Bournemouth manager if we want to win silverware?

There's facepalm, there's cringe, and then there's this thread.

    Nothing wrong with the question.

I'm not sure at this stage but this guy has done well in a **** club himself and now ripping up trees in the Premier league.

I like his energy on the touchline ... he's active , he's vocal and he's figuring things out. He sat down smirking and I think he knew he had our number early on.

He's a personality and Howes a geography teacher in comparison on that point.

Impossible to answer though at this point.

We win 9 games in a row and then when we lose a game, the manager of the team that beat us should be our new manager?

    This is ****ing mental.

Nope, comparing two managers who have both been on exceptional runs after some early challenges, with one coming out on top today. Was genuinely just a question as both are doing well but which has more about them. Who would you trust more to take Newcastle further.

No idea why this is seen as cringe, ****ing weird response tbh.

Cos Bournemouth were brilliant and they probably won't play better than that this season.

At the end of the season, find the best game we played under Howe and then use that as the basis for comparison.

They just keep getting better mind.... I see one point difference after 21 games, so I can't rule them out of top 4 either.

I just thought it was a bit of a lighthearted opinion, as there’s all kinds of nuances from the Bournemouth connection to the form etc. As a reminder this is a football fans forum not a PMQ session at Westminster, our views and opinions are utterly irrelevant.

So it’s a question for now, and possibly a question for the end of the season. What if we’re beaten to a Euro place by plucky Bournemouth and our best result is beating Ipswich away, whereas theirs is walloping us at our place on the way to finishing top 6? What if is meaningless, and I only asked a question about the here and now.

Replace light-hearted with batshit, and I'd agree.

    Fair enough.

    In that case EH.

Based on what each has achieved in this country in the PL

Wouldn’t pretend to know much about Iraola but I do know he hasn’t managed a PL team that got into Europe/Champions League whilst he was managedr.
