Honestly I feel like we’ve just lost the playoff final. wtf is wrong with me can’t shake the frustration. Wish I could switch off.
I read every match thread from start to finish, when we are at home I don't post as I'm at the match and don't have time to post. I will back off now and let the "adults" debate. I'm sure you will be posting as much when we best Derby Tuesday
Wilson on Instagram: “ Feel like a big slap in the face, and the worst day of my life because all of us know how i love this club. Even if only act on the pitch can make forgive, I would like to apologise on my teammates, every single fans and all the person of this club for what happened tonight. | feel really ashamed, but i promise you that i will come back stronger from this! See you tuesday, HWTL.”
I chucked a fiver on Mayenda just to have a shot and us to win when he came on, 20/1. 2 missed penalties and that ridiculous block later and I was thinking the same thing
Incidentally, Burnley fans seem to think that performance (first half at least) was one of their best of the season. That wasn’t them on an off day or riddled with injuries. Do people still think our team and squad are miles behind theirs? I think they’re decent, but so are we!
I've mentioned a few times tonight about dropping Rigg for Le Fee, but it's not because there's anything wrong with the lad and ideally he'd benefit from the sort of season that Jobe did last year when he played week in week out regardless. It does seem like we're making a big effort to go up this year though, and in that case we need to emphasise getting the most out of Le Fee over developing young players.
Yes. I post, win , lose or draw. Your post about this was weak and uncalled for. Zero substance. Grow up.
All that chat needs to be put in the bin now for certain. Nothing in this world is guaranteed - and missing out on autos cannot be considered a failure - but we’re one of the four best teams in this league and we’re deservedly in the automatic promotion race. We’ve got an excellent chance.
That’s actually really sad. It’s football at the end of the day there’s more important things in life. I’m sure we’re all frustrated, some fans vent more than others and in different ways but we all want what’s best for Sunderland at the end of the day. No player should go off the pitch like that over a game of football and take it home with him.. we’ll go again next week and we’re still right amongst it. I’m sure the lads will put an arm around him and he’ll learn from it.
Ive said he’s been great for us and he will bounce back. I criticising him for tonight, but that won’t stop me supporting him in the very next game. I rate him, but tonight was silly from him, he will know that and learn from it.
Players that care. Not a big ask but we have found it very hard to come by in the past. I love this squad. They’re taking us up, I tell you now.
I've asked you to debate where you would place YOUR poacher, but your reply was "it's down to the manager"!
Oh please explain how it was weak and uncalled for? It's a fact that when we do play well or don't win you post more
19 games to go, and we are right in the mix, we have outplayed Burnley and Sheff Utd twice, kids are getting better and more experienced, we’ll sign at least 1 new striker, le fee looks mint sheff utd have to play Leeds and Burnley Burnley have to play Leeds and Sheff Utd Leeds have to play all 3 We only have to play Leeds Isador could have had a hat trick tonight and it could easily have been 4-0 its all good
