I said the same before the second penalty. If someone else took it and missed, I would have no issue. But it’s greed IMO.

He would be getting slated for taking it from a striker and not giving him the chance to redeem the earlier miss!
All I’m saying is I think that’s needlessly digging at Isidor. None of the other 3 in this promotion race have the “proper finisher” you want, so it clearly and categorically isn’t necessary for promotion. We had a proper finisher but the rest of his game was ****e so we released him to Millwall.
It's not all bad, in fact it's quite good. A point keeps us 4th with a 10 point cushion between us and 6th
Greed? How is it greed? I didn't see him snatching the ball off anyone or preventing anyone from taking it? Maybe he was only one who fancied it? Maybe he was the agreed taker and everyone was happy with him having another crack including Isidor.

I got a bit of stick a few weeks back for saying he's a scorer of great goals but not a great goal scorer. He's gone through a bit of a purple patch since then too be honest with 3 goals in his last 4. If he was a great goal scorer though, he'd be a £30m player in the Premier League because he's a very good footballer.
Jobe and ELF have far more quality to take a pen BTW. just se Connolly isn't to the level. Cannon will be the player that gets Sheffield United up. Pay the licks you normally get the quality. Especially in the striker department. We only have Wilson really. We need another proper, quality centre forward.

I'd of picked le fee. Shame for isidor. But he wasn't strong enough. The good thing is we are learning and improving all the time and still in the top bunch. We'll explode like a rabbits gonads in a female bunny farm soon
I think a lot of it is just pure frustration mate and that’s down to how good we are right now. If this happened last season I don’t think people would’ve been so bothered, but we can all see how good these lads are and we’re going to go all the way this season.. we can’t throw away chances like tonight. They deserved the win tonight hopefully they’ll come out and hammer Derby with Isidor getting on the scoresheet. As you said he offers a lot but first and foremost you need your 9 taking his chances not scoring wonder goals every 4 games
It’s greed because he didn’t do what was right for the team. He had his chance the first time, he blew it. The second time he should have been nowhere near that ball.
Any Isidor slander can **** off mind. The bloke has been absolutely fantastic for us - wears his heart on his sleeve. He’ll be devastated tonight, and probably tomorrow. We’ve had many players through the years that wouldn’t be arsed about that in the slightest. Those players out there deserve our full backing. They’re going to get up promoted this season.
