.confidence doesn't equal competence and the Wilson isn't a pen guy. Doesn't hit the ball clean for me.

Anyway , we were the better team. We need to sign a finisher. We should buy cannon TBF but probably won't as it's too much up front. But we need a proper finisher to go up automatically.

Aye, people going on like he was keeping the ball from someone else wanting to take it!

Maybe he was the only one wanting to step up so late on in such a big match?

The lad plays with his heart om his sleeve and gives it his all out there every week and for that he deserves our support when stuff goes wrong for him!

People do quick to jump in like footballers should be ****ing robots and never **** up!

no don’t buy that at all. A lot of captain hindsight going on here.

Trafford dives the other way and we’re all saying how impressed we are with Isidors mentality to stick the second penalty away with aplomb

Neither were in the corner, if they were he would’ve scored because he put that much power into the both of them.

BTW, what about our support tonight eh?

We take stick for crisp bags, less than the 40,000 announced and avoiding a third match against Stoke ...

... but, ffs, that was outstanding tonight.

Friday night, live on Sky and playing one of the most boring teams on earth ... absolutely brilliant.

Well, it had to be Elf on pens from now, and the rest start practising

on reflection, neither were pens in the cold light of day. On the first, if he’d called it outside the box the player must be off?

hey ho. Onto the next one v Derby.

maybe we’ll get another striker/finisher in. We do need it

Automatics are definitely possible. Leeds are the only team in the top 4 who I would say look strong favourites to win it. We look better than Sheff Utd and Burnley at our best. If we can get a couple of players to help us convert the odd extra result in our favour, then we'll make it.

It wasn't a guarantee he would miss tho

If your striker and designated penalty taker wants to take it, you back him - it obviously didn't work tonight but I'm proud of him for wanting to step up and put the previous miss behind him

    Hope he scores next game

As club captain, he knows how takes penalties and if that's isidor then he gets him take it.

Or we shall we just hammer Neil for not being able to see into the future?

No doubt by tomorrow this will be all be Neil's fault as he didn't stop the penalty and give it to someone who's guaranteed to score

The fans were tremendous. Loud and clear all game long too. Helped to create a proper old school night match atmosphere.

Because some like to dig him out as captain that's why

Thought Neil and jobe were class again tonight, looking forward to seeing Le Fee alongside them

This all over mate, easy to say in hindsight. Like I keep saying maybe everyone else was ****ting it more and didn't want to take it or would have missed aswell! A point off Burnley isn't to be sniffed at even if we probably deserved 3 in the end!

Thought Jobe put in an elite level performance and I don't use that term lightly. His calmness in tight situations is crazy.

Isn't there always when we don't win.
The same few suspects its become tedious.
Sadly they call themselves Sunderland fans...I would call them ****ing embarrassing.
