I keep preaching the positive approach and because of that I have no interest in the past apart from can we learn from it. The appointment of MON means we can basically forget everything before today because Bruce and MON are chalk and cheese and I doubt MON can learn a lot from the past, its all about tomorrow and training and short term, the next 4 games. The simple truth is he has to keep us in touch and do it with the players he has, he can then add a player or two but right now, we have what we have. Of the games he will be looking for a minimum of 6 points from the two home games and what he can get from Spurs and QPR away, what will he do? Well we know who the keeper will be and I think Bardo and Brown are safe, O'Shea I don't know and Richardson could be a LB, LW or even striker. If Turner is fit then it will IMO be a Turner Brown CB pairing. Midfield should see Larsson and Sess on the wings but in the middle, well we know Catts wont be there so will Gardner get his chance? Then we have it, the problem, the one that wont go away and the main reason we are in the bottom 4, we cant score goals. Yesterday we showed again that even when playing poor we can make chances, just cant take them. Can MON get Bendtner working or will it be 4=5=1 with Ji up front. A front 2 that includes Noble or can he find a front 2 that we cant see. Saturday at 2.10 will be interesting to say the least.
Bendtners work rate seriously ticked me off yesterday, and I would drop him if we had many other choices. I hope Wickham and Campbell are back soon because we need them bad. PS. Syd I think the games on Sunday.
2.10 Saturday, pre game deviant sexual encounter with a lady in her 70's from Byker and Osca, I tend to watch.
Gotta worry, but this kinda makes me think of a certain someone??????
I would have, and her off them that sang "The lion sleeps tonight" what a pair of thighs that lady had! And not a dog in sight.
Just the lyrics "the snakes in the grass go absolutely free" kind of a kinky session in Coxhoe farmers field i reckon.
I would put O'shea back to r/back and move Bardo back to the left, Brown and Turner in middle. In the middle I would have vaughan and Gardner , wide left Sess and wide right Larsson.Up front I would go with Bendtner (we know he is better than we saw yesterday) and Ji who did enough for another start. wouldnt start with Noble (lightweight) Colback and Richardson can keep the bench warm (all winter for me )
Couldn't resist Googling them. They were called Tight Fit. The one on the left Denise Gyngell. Went on to marry Pete Waterman. (Lucky sod) please log in to view this image
Well Syd I shall probably roll up to SoL Sunday Lunchtime and if it as cold as today it will be with longjohns, walking boots, thick coat scarf and hat very unlike as was against West Brom when it was shorts and Tee Shirt. Well if I go prepared for the game, will the team? The main problem as you point out is lack of goals and good strikers, I'm not sure what MoN can do about until the Jan transfer Window! Larsson and Sess might score and we should play at least one CM who can score to compensate for the crap strikers. Catts is banned which I think is good news, his booking on Sunday was as a result of his lack of pace and the oppo was getting away from him. Bendtner after a couple of promising first games is looking the player my Gooner mates could not wait to get rid of. Ji was dreadful first half but started to improve the 2nd and it is too early to say about Noble. Will MoN be able to get Bendtner going again, if not he should be shipped out in Jan. As for Ji, the lad might just need more games and probably the same for Ryan Noble. The problem we do not have time as we have not replaced those lost, i.e. Bent, Welbeck and Gyan a forward line any EPL would be happy with (perhaps not Citeh).
