    1. What do you believe was the "attitude" problem for BMJ ??

    2. Do you believe his attitude was warranted ??

BMJ didn't have an attitude problem...I think he was sacked because Levy didn't see any upside. Wrongly sacked in my view.

They were. To think otherwise is beyond bonkers. Redknapp the only one that wasn’t.

Your own numbers demonstrate that they were not.

The losses that were building up resulted in their sackings.

    But don't worry, Power.

In three years time, we'll have an excellent team, right?

How do you know that? I simply don't believe that an astute businessman like Levy makes sacking decisions on data that is not statistically significant. Whereas each of Redknapp, Poch, Mourinho and Conte was acting up when they got the push.

That's obviously the plan but nothing is guaranteed.
But no, I don't worry, I go to watch a sport and enjoy myself.

"We were extremely reluctant to make this change. It is not a decision the board has taken lightly, nor in haste," said Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
"Regrettably domestic results at the end of last season and beginning of this season have been extremely disappointing."

    There isn't a plan.

And the only ones truly enjoying watching us aren't Spurs fans, they're Arsenal, Chelsea and whoever else has a dislike for us.

They can hardly say he was sacked for acting like a ****. But I thought it the wrong decision at the time in any case.

Since when did Pochettino ever act like a ****?

I don’t remember Nuno acting like one either, in fact he was and still is an absolute gent.

If sacking the managers was only down to them speaking out then no wonder we are where we are. Ange the yes man keeps his job despite doing terrible because he won’t speak out, but managers doing better who demanded more from the board got binned.

If that alone doesn’t show you a huge problem that’s at this club, I’m not sure what ever will.

I didn't think Conte was sacked, I thought he left by mutual consent broken by the deaths of 2 people that he was close to, by his own illness and by a team that couldn't play how he wanted them to.

All this stats based analysis is just numbers as a football fan of over 50 years I prefer to judge the club on what I see with my own eyes, and I see a club in turmoil, I see a lot of Ossie Ardiles in Ange and we know that ended. I think that Gerry Francis under performing side of the 90s were a better watch than this team at the moment. Yes the injuries are having a huge impact, last night may just be the beginning of the end, I have said here after previous defeats (like Newcastle) that the players were still playing for him, last night there was less evidence of that. The lack of 'passion' for a NLD was palpable even Ange commented in his presser that our attitude was poor. The only good thing currently happening is that Gray and Bergvall are getting decent game time that will hopefully be helping there development.

Despite all this he doesn't appear to be in any danger of being sacked, but defeats at Everton and Hoffenheim next week will almost leave certainly leave Ange staring into the abyss.

13 votes and 9 want the manager to stay. Considering the results and the football offered that’s actually impressive by Ange to still have that sort of support.

I suspect there are worries that Mason will take charge for the remainder of the season if Ange is sacked.

    True.

I voted yes and want Ange gone as I can’t see it working out with him but a small part of me wouldn’t mind seeing him forced to complete this season so he has to take accountability for the worst season Spurs have had in decades. Sacking him would almost let him off the hook in a way.

We may have to get Mason to play if things get any worse <laugh>. I doubt he'd perform worse than Bissouma, Sarr and Maddison in the midfield at present.

But again, I do blame a lot of the bad performances on the coaching and tactics. We definitely need to add some quality but equally I don't think a bunch of these players are as bad as they're showing. Doesn't help Maddison plays out of position all the time too, we signed one of the most creative and effective CAM's in the league and stuck him in a sort of LCM role.

On what basis are you making that statement? I cannot remember Poch acting badly at the time. Results weren't great and the squad was in decline, but he never went public with any criticism. If you're suggesting that he was more overtly critical in his face to face dealings with Levy then I'm afraid he would just go up in my estimation.

Bissouma would already be in the departure lounge with Maddison waiting on a taxi to the airport! <laugh>
However, I'll hold back criticism of Sarr for now. Last night was the only time he's looked lethargic and I'm sure there's a good player in there.
Part of me thinks he looks worse when he has to play alongside Bissouma - and as already identified, he has to cope with MIA Porro down the right flank.

I think Sarr’s form has been patchy to be honest but his age understandably means he doesn’t warrant the same criticism as Bissouma and Maddison.

The worry I have for him too is that he’s not really excelling at anything. He’s got a great engine but his passing, dribbling, shooting and tackling is all a bit “meh”. He’s a jack of all trades type, not a bad thing but I reckon he might struggle holding down a regular place over the coming seasons.
