We’ll only know if he scores, though that’s generally the case in every game - scores or completely anonymous.
2-1 FT. Dreadful performance and utterly **** ref. Standard. 5 points from the last 9 games. That's really pushing it, isn't it?
Utterly disgraceful. Another loss is bad enough but the lack of bollocks about most of them is what’s infuriating. Manager hasn’t got a scooby either.
Out fought and out played tonight. 5 attacking players on the pitch and practically no chances created. Sorry but a poor effort for a NLD...
Bit of a nothing second half all round. Lost to a set piece and a stupid mistake. Disappointing as definitely could have been more goals in that for us.
Essentially this is what needs to happen: Give Ange another £300m between now and the summer or sack him. Because any other method is not gonna pay dividends. The bloke’s painfully out of his depth but you can negate amateur tactics with better players. If we’re not careful we’ll seriously be in a relegation scrap before long.
The single most disappointing thing is how easy Spurs are to beat. It’s something I don’t see how they get back under Ange and why he has to go. He just doesn’t seem to have answers to quite simple problems. 11 defeats from 21 game is worse than anything even a cynic like me would have imagined. Right now I can see Spurs finishing 15th.
I don't think that we were outfought tonight. A bunch of our players are knackered and it showed. Why Porro played on the weekend when we had alternatives, for example, is beyond me. The starting lineup didn't work, for a variety of reasons and we had to chase it after the break. Spence played well, but he offered little going forward and we had no width on either side. Bergvall was fine in the middle but his first half role was bizarre and pointless. Kulusevski, Son, Porro and Solanke all look dead on their feet. Postecoglou's tactics require a lot of energy and running and we don't have the capacity for that. It also appears to kill off half of our squad and it doesn't suit a lot of our other half, either. He's got some massive games left to save his job now, assuming Levy doesn't sack him after this. Boodison on Sunday with Moyes' return will be enormous pressure.
