Not sure about Madders not starting unless there’s some fitness problem we’re not aware of. Maybe it’s more about trying to blunt them a bit and get them tired and a bit worked up then he comes on after 60mins to make an impact. Maybe Maddison and Johnson on together?

Just think he’s the kind of player who gets these sort of occasions and gives us an edge.
