    But forward Mousa Dembele could be fit and Clint Dempsey should return from a thigh complaint, while Bryan Ruiz is available for selection again.
    Liverpool's Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva has a season-ending cruciate ligament problem in his left knee.
    With Steven Gerrard still out injured, Jay Spearing may replace him.<ok>

    No jokes there used to be a user on old 606 who posted team news once in a while a day in advance of the game. Claimed he knew someone in training. Got it right all of the time and even when there were obscure additions to the squad and the starting lineup!!
