For those complaining we have not strengthened, realistically who are you hoping we sign and who are they going to replace.

Tom Cannon mentioned - 9 goals 1 assist
    Piroe - 10 goals 5 assists

We wouldn’t guarantee him first team football

Morgan Whittaker - Plymouth have said no, would you want us to break the bank when wingers are the one area we have an abundance

    I’m all for strengthening our squad if the incoming is better than what we have, but to be better than;

    Bogle
    Rodon
    Struijk
    Wober
    Ampadu
    Tanaka
    Gruev
    James
    Rothwell
    Gnonto
    Solomon
    Ramazani
    Piroe
    Aaronson

Means a rival selling their star player or a player dropping a division with extortionate wages, we have to accept we have a damn good squad already with options on the bench

If I see a rival sign a better LB than what we have or a keeper, I’ll be annoyed/jealous or an out and out 10 or Striker

<cheers> We’ve a top four championship outfit. Same as last season. Only two will go up to that promised land you all keep fantasising about. Another gets a go at the playoffs. Yippe. Anyway Eire is heading over with the Galway whites for Cardiff game in three weeks so will be able to report first hand on progress since Decembers visit

Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion, we are top of the table, been rarely outplayed, would be 6+ points clear with a decent keeper, (12 points clear if every team we played had Meslier in goal).

Nobody has scored more goals than us and despite Meslier we have the third best defensive record

Eire feels a top 4 team, I truly believe we have the best team in the division

Agreed, but sometimes having the best manager counts more.

People's manager ratings are often a moment in time. Kieren McKenna looks a great manager, but i'm always mindful of Nigel Adkins who promoted scunthorpe to the championship twice, then took Southampton from league 1 to the premiership in consecutive years. Before 'failing' everywhere else. Sometimes success in football is riding the crest of a wave and it can be fleeting. I think most think Nuno is a good manager and I'd agree. Forest are on a great run, and he has them really well organised playing to an old-fashioned identity. But anyone really think they will be 'challenging' next year?'. Great defensive record, centre halves, keeper and striker having career seasons. They're a mid-table side on xg, over-performing.
