Arsenal still have to come to us. Sad that Jesus has done his ACL, wish him well, but I’m not worried by them.

Let’s hope Jota can stay fit now. If needed wrap him up midweeks, leave him out of next couple CL games, guy is difference maker for us up top n

Outside of getting Virgil and Alisson, one of Klopp’s best bit of business was getting Jota out of the blue from Wolves.

Forest are more happier with a draw.Their goal keeper is the MOTM.

Very frustrating watch; only one team tried to win the game but fair play to Forest, they did what they needed to do to earn a point. If they'd opened up and attacked the game they'd have been ripped apart.

Good luck to them in their quest for the rest the season, hopefully they can better the rest.

Arsenal are at home to West Ham 22nd Feb
Forest are away at Newcastle Sun 23rd Feb

We’re away at Man City on Sunday 23rd Feb

Forest have Arsenal at home tues 25th Feb

    bit of **** turnaround

They have Man City at home 8th March

Chelsea at home final match of the season.

hopefully they may rest some for Newcastle in readiness to beat Arsenal for us.

Should have won that but you have to applaud Forests defending. Lost count of blocked shots in the second half. Take the point and move on….the good news is that we finished strongly and at the end, we were moving the ball around like we have all season.

Not sure what vvd was doing for the goal. Was really poor. First drops off with the run of wood when wasn’t being played the ball so now 5 yards deeper than everyone else and then turns and faces away from wood as the ball is being played so has to do a full 180 before chasing after him.

Hmm. Had we not dropped 2 points in our last league match I may have agreed, but 4 points dropped so far in 2 games in January is abysmal. Brentford away next - if we drop another two or three points we'll be getting desperate to call that a point gained as well.

As Mito said before the Uniturd game - we could sow this title up by the end of January, or we could be wrestling with Arsenal right up until May now.

Good 2nd half though, but we can't keep giving prem sides a half start and expecting to get away with it. Oh, and Salah needs more ****ing chances than Nunez in some games. Fabulous as he is, I'd love to know what his conversion rate is. As for Diaz tonight - his link-up play is really, really poor. We really miss Bobby for that - hardly a misplaced or over/underhit pass in those situations: Diaz is a headless chicken when we need a cobra, and Gakpo ain't much better. Thought Gravenberch was pants in the first half too.

Anyway, Saturday is must win now, as is Ipswich the week later. Cba the CL dead rubbers in between. :emoticon-0114-dull:

It’s tough to be perfect all season, everyone bar us has been saying it’s as good as done because we knew it wouldn’t be the case to just have it sewn up by Feb like last time.

We’re having a little fall off results wise as was inevitable, but others around us have failed in large to capitalise. I still think we’re the best around and will get firing again

    It's not abysmal.

    It's top 4 challenger form.

Bext 4 are now key. 12/12 required but I doubt we even get by Brentford.

Slots pushed too hard in midfield and all control is lost.

That game yesterday was klopp chaos. Zero control but it opened forest.

It risked the 1 to get the 3.

    No that's bull ****.

Show me the one he is supposed to save as I can show the saves he did make especially more 1 on 1s.

There's no saving that last night.

It was a class finish to the corner

I disagree - I saw a lot in that second half that encouraged me. It was not an abject performance like the last meeting or even like the Utd game.

I do agree that we need to get a winning run going again. We were never going to win every game and it’s no coincidence that everyone has dropped points.

    Onwards and upwards

I would like a couple of signings mind. <whistle>

What was negative about calling it a klopp style game in the end.

Slot threw on tsimkas and jota and took off a cb. He just threw it at them and forest kind of fell for it.

Now if they scored on the break he'd be lambasted but thwy couldn't and they sort of fell apart in fitness terms.

We risked the 1 point by just going all in for the 3.

Yes it wasn't totally poor but the first half was woeful in terms of aimless balls in and terrible shots miles over the bar for miles out.

In the end sels made 4 good saves. That says we were all over them by the end.

Nobody is really good enough this season so far so continuing to pick up points is better than not but this is now 8 points and a title race thst could be over missed.

    Things happen.

Newcastle was poor imo. If you claim to be a control manager then losing thst lead is poor.

Utd was abject. Again a lead surrendered and damn lucky to get a point by the end wheres the control?

Fulham was an idiotic Robertson and a hard fight. Things happen but we reacted well

Forest deserved their point based on working hard but they are Wimbledon. Stoke. Pulis could be managing them. We got a goal of a set piece then were "brave" going for it. So getting a point is good.

There's 8 points gone, 4 really poorly but we are still.in front so we have to pick it up.

I am not looking forward to Brentford at all. I don't think konate is right at all and we are going to struggle against them but thry have not been good defensively so we should give it a go.

We need to win the next 4.

For me the 2nd half would've been good enough to win the game if the first half wasn't so abject. When you play that badly against a good side you can only turn it around it with a near perfect 2nd half performance.

    Good enough for what?
47 pts is roughly average for the league leaders after 20, and the following pack are in the general area as well.
