I'll be honest Syd, having now gone back a couple of pages to take a look, I at least expected to see you trying to force that thing in your mouth. It just wasn't fun enough for me <sorry>

It’s a long running joke/ debate in uk about the use of Tea / dinner for evening meal . Same as bread cake / bread roll, think you’ve taken a light hearted comment a bit too seriously

He called me a bellend for pointing out I don't live in Hull. If he meant bellend light heartedly then perhaps I have, but somehow I doubt it. I was happy to have a laugh about it with Wright as I knew the spirit he made his post in, but not Deano.

I meant from the start of the convo about being northern ; pre - bellend .. at which point it did take a less light hearted turn <laugh>

Oh I knew it was a joke at that point, I thought I was being suitably light in response but perhaps not. :)

It was only when I got called a bellend that I got put out.

It looks like a nice burger but one of my biggest pet peeves about burgers in pubs/restaurants/food markets these days is that they're too tall and too pretentious.

Burgers should be wide, not tall. Even your burger looks like it's wearing a comically-large hat and difficult to eat.

As soon as I see a guy with a beard, sleeve tattoos and those black rubber gloves making my burger, I know it's going to be tall, messy and called something ridiculous. Oh and it's going to cost £30.

One of my biggest peeves is them trying to charge 15-17 quid for a bit of ****ing mince
    And a handful of chips

And I agree about the amount of **** they pile on some of them
Why do you want a chicken breast on top of a burger ffs

Nothing in particular. I just associate pretentious hipster burger places with cooks who have beards and sleeve tattoos.

I watch a guy on YT who hands food out to the homeless... It starts with someone handing the food to him and he asks how much to is and then says can you make me 20... the first comments usually are, not fantastic well done which there are in there 1000's but, they charge £18 for that !!...

I mean if you really wanted to help the homeless rather than just make 'content'
for your youtube channel you wouldn't hand out £18 burgers would you
