From a PSR view I understand why people might want him sold but as a rotational/squad option I'd be more happy to keep him personally.

If in Europe next year we need a great squad not a great XI and if we sell Barnes we need to replace him as well as get others in as well. We should be able to get a RCB, RW and GK through the door without putting ourselves in a massive amount of PSR trouble for the start of next season - even if one or two of them have to be loans...

Still joint second top scorer in the league for us and hasn't started a game in a month and I can't think of many back up wingers with his stats this season in terms of goals and assists so for me he would be very much in the keep catergory - especially when you think of some of the dross at the club that needs selling/releasing first...

Ruddy, Gillespie, Krafth/Trippier, Lascelles, Target, Hayden, Miggy, Wilson for a start.

This - he's viewed as a waste of money, but he's scored some goals off the bench... As long as he's happy with the part he's playing, I'd be happy to keep him. He's a great option, but doesn't have the work rate or consistent threat that Gordon has - and he never will.

100% as long as he's not being a problem behind the scenes! Tbh cant imagine him whining to much about his playing time as a) form of Gordon ahead of him and b) can't stay fully fit to really put the pressure on consistently currently.

Agree with both of the points above, he’s worth keeping, but avoiding our “blue chip” players, he’s our most valuable asset.

My view is he was a massive waste of money and a squad place, but to be fair that's neither his fault, nor anything that can be fixed now, what's done is done. This is my only real grievance with Barnes. He's a decent enough sub who can have an impact so for that reason there are a large number I'd prefer us to get rid of.

However, if you offered me, say, Barnes or Dibling, I'd take Dibling as both Joe's can cover left wing. So it's all about the PSR.

He's just never really going to get ahead of Gordon and of all the players that might fetch anything useful he's the one that wouldn't be missed greatly.

Perhaps they need to look at Longstaff now, but I doubt they'll get more than 8 million whether they value him 15 to 20 won't make anyone want to pay such an amount.

I suspect someone out there will cough up low eight figures for Longstaff. Or we'll use him in another PSR forced player swap transfer and probably get a bit more that way.

Chris Sutton predicting a 3-0 win for us in this this one. Even says with our current form that we're on for a domestic treble this season <laugh>

    He knows his stuff.

Far be it from me to sound like a bedwetter/Chaos/Roly, but these are the type of games we take it easy and cock up. We need the same intensity as the last three games, and we’ll be fine

Exactly what I was thinking. Few odd results last night and I can see a draw happening here too.

Barnes is a bad one, I like him as an impact sub and being able to change things when we're struggling to make a break through.

Wolves's record very good under the new manager so far, but we should expect to win.

The Barnes injury might actually force the club to sign a winger that can play across the front 3. It's either that or Almiron would have to stay.

I'm sure EH says that Botman is suffering from fatigue so I expect it'll be Burn and Schar

Think Eddie will generally let Schar Burn continue until a mistake leading to a goal is made or we have a game where we concede 2/3 goals tbh. Neither Schar or Burn have put a foot wrong since November and would be very harsh to drop one currently.

He's only out for a month, striker surely the priority now.
