65 now mate - but if my cousins are up for it and we can get tickets might just - been several times - think I've mentioned it before, my late Uncle (mum's brother - they lived in Clayton-le-Moors) was in the same apprentice side as Duncan Edwards and Bobby Charlton ...
Good to have the near-annual guessing game of whether United will be televised despite getting the dullest home tie possible. It’s usually Reading and the answer is always yes. Some reasonably proper ties. Plymouth, Birmingham v Toon, Exeter v Forest, Doncaster v Palace and potentially Orient v City. We’ll still be treated to every all-Prem tie.
****s, any proper Prem Club would score enough goals to make sure of the win and then allow the underdogs to keep some pride and not grind their noses in the dirt just to boost Peps ego
UNDR THE COSH Does anyone watch these shows? I think they’re brilliant. I’ve been watching a couple every week for about 2 month now and there’s been some cracking guests on. Peter Swan was absolutely hilarious when he was on. Some of his stories were so funny. Martin ‘Mad Dog’ Allen was another, he told some really interesting stories. Lee Sharpe was another really good show. Mark Crossley is a really funny guy and he told some beltas when he was on. Definitely worth tuning into if you’ve never seen it.
Seen sharp and Crossley at speaking dinners. Sharp lives on the cantona story, Crossley is very good.
Wonder how many West Ham have gone for some jolly japes. Looks pretty dead in the home ends but there’ll be a 55+ fat bloke in a flat cap and long coat waving his arms menacingly at the away end without doubt.
I think their centre-half with the dreads used to be in our youth team but he doesn’t have a Wiki page.
