Have realised Robinson is still suspended for this one not back until he can make a goalscoring return on the weekend.... Would guess that we could see Meite deputise now, especially with Reindorf injured. Certainly hope Riza doesn't try play Colwill up top again.
Or even worse, Katanga Kanga. Haven't we dumped him yet even though his home club don't want him either?
It's not Colwill's fault - he's being played out of position........ Just hope he doesn't try Willock as a "false 9" again - the guy is too fussy with the ball and twists himself inside out before releasing it. Meite has had enough chances that have ended in failure - wonder if Tanner can play through the middle? Another option would be El Ghazi who's played there before, but after his chicken out against that Oxford keeper, there's a real danger the Watford CB's might breathe on him and blow him over.
I recon we'll see Etete play there. We could do worse than put Ashford in there. A different type of player, but would run the channels.
So many options. None likely to work. What about he lad who came on sub in the cup? Pearce. Good movement, held the ball up and created space for others. Not sure on goal scoring.
I still don't know who he is. Saw him play and he looked alright. Just can't see him in the 18s or 21s.
Here he is.............................. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luke_...s for EFL Championship side Cardiff City. [1]
Cardiff City XI: Alnwick; Ng, Goutas, Daland, O’Dowda; Rinomhota, Chambers, Robertson; Ashford, Colwill, Willock. Subs: Horvath, Fish, Bagan, Ralls, Tanner, Meite, Kanga, Pearce, Etete. No recognised 9 again. Ashford through the middle?
4 strikers on the bench. It’s possibly proving difficult to offload Kanga. Rhinomota doing the Siopis role
More possession and more chances. The longer this goes on, the more likely it is we get bitten on the bum.
Unlucky lads. It's getting better though. Bloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooobirds
