What can you do? as fans you have to sit and watch one of the most over priced players in football history looking like a fish out of water, at a club i expect he doesn't want to play for and is most likely wishing he was playing his part in Newcastles season. Geordies are a funny bunch (in a good way) they are very loyal to their roots and I don't believe Carroll ever wanted to leave Newcastle, and I suspect he was forced out because of the deal on the table, Newcastle directors most likely were gob smacked when your offer came in that they made sure they got all the cash from you asap! From a neutral point of view, Carroll does have some quality, great upper body strength, good in the air, a presence but he just doesn't fit into liverpools system and while he was vastly over priced, he does some quality and you will see it occasionally yet is that good enough for a 35 million striker? No.
what we should do? Tie up a bucket full of cement on his leg and throw him out of the team bus and into the thames after the fulham game.
