Finally a morning where it’s not below zero. Still loads of ground snow here out of the sun and it’s icy. Would think most will be gone by midweek looking at forecast.
... surfed Fistral beach many times in my teens - possibly biggest UK waves (Ponks to confirm) ... never encountered anything quite that big ... kudos to your lad!!!
never seen the attraction of surfing to be honest. Looks like hard work and a bit dangerous. Would much rather ride up a mountain on a bike with skinny tires and then go back down at 50mph in Lycra.
