I often came away from watching games under Walter thinking we played well and were dominant yet came away with only a point or even **** all because of our poor finishing. I’m happy we have Sellés now as I think his style of coaching and attitude is a much better fit but being dominant and not winning has been the theme for most of this season and large parts of last season as well. We lack cutting edge and ruthlessness and I can’t see how that isn’t mainly down to players because it’s been the case under Rosenior, Walter and Sellés now. We should’ve won today but we also probably should’ve beat Derby, Portsmouth and Oxford too.
As a general point. I think the entire point of my original post has been missed or warped as tends to be the case and it's become an argument on an entirely different thing. All I said was we created a lot of chances and didn't score them. I didn't really think that was particularly controversial.
I'm not backtracking. The post you quoted where you said I was wrong says exactly that, as does my original post. You know the bit where I said "My original point has been missed and warped"? Nothing about backtracking and everything to do with you jumping on my post and then jumping on the phrase "on another day we score those" and going off on a tangent.
We need new attackers. Our front 3 aren’t good enough. Pedro is a great player but I just don’t feel he’s a number 9 in a fast attacking team. Our fit wingers are nowhere near good enough.
What a weird deflection. No it's not me dissecting everyone's post. It's regularly me complaining that people are hung up on a particular word when they said another particular word which largely means the same thing. Why not go back and read my first post which you jumped on where I said it was a good performance but couldn't score, and tell me what part of that post was wrong other than our different definitions of a good performance?

I didn't try to 'back it up' with that comment, I provided the stats and the chances we created to show it was a good performance. The posts are there in black and white. In fact I didn't even say 'on another day we score those' I said their keeper should have been off and it changes the game which was your first bone of contention. I mean go read the posts. I said a number of times "It was a good performance we just couldn't score" and you still didn't process it. No backtracking at all.
The way Sellés plays, we need quick wingers. The players I’ve seen us linked with just don’t seem to fit that. Gelhardt and this Lincoln seem more like number 10s and we don’t really play with one.
